The Blood Of Christ

Adjustments.jpeg

For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. 1 Peter 1:18–19

Tomorrow, We reflect on the Triumphal Entry of The Lord Jesus- As they shouted Hosanna (save now) they had no idea that just a few days later He’d be offering His Body & Soul for the sin of Humanity. It’s in His death He paid the full price of our redemption. Our Value is 100% based on what He accomplished for us!

Too often we base our value on how someone is treating us, how successful we are, how perfect a life we’ve lived. We base it on what we do, what our income is, who we know. The problem is that all those things can change. If you’re trying to get your value from how people treat you, then if they hurt or disappoint you, you’re going to feel devalued. If you’re basing your value upon your achievements, then if something negative happens, your sense of value will go down.

Your value should be based solely on the fact that you are a child of the Most High God. You have royalty in your blood. How someone treats you doesn’t change your value. Nothing you ever do, nothing you ever achieve, and nothing you ever overcome will make you any more valuable. You are valuable right now. You have been fearfully and wonderfully made. God calls you a masterpiece. Start carrying yourself with confidence and Know God Is With and In You.

Pray this prayer

Father, thank You that my value is based solely on the fact that I am Your child and that I am valuable right now no matter what I’ve done or how I feel. I declare that nothing I ever do, or ever achieve, or ever overcome will make me any more valuable. My Righteousness is of You and You alone- In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

From The Words of Jesus Series

Notes on the Words of Jesus starting in John 4:27…

Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance," Read John 4:27-38, Mathew 9:37

Notice that He said in Verse 32 I have food that you do not know of~

His Food was to do the will of the Father and finish His Work…

Reflect on John 4:35- Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

Take note that Jesus said the Harvest is Plentiful- and past ready to harvest… In Matt. 9:36-38

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them…

Then He [Jesus] said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the labors are few~

Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

The word used for compassion is the strongest word for pity in the Greek language describing the love that moves a person to the depths of their being.

We are commissioned to go out and do the work of an evangelist!

It’s The Great Commission not the Great Suggestion~  Read~Mark 16:15 Mat. 28:19 Luke 14:23 and Luke 10:19

You cannot make disciples without fishing for them!

We are called to be fishers of men not keepers of the Aquarium.  Read Mat. 4:19

2 Tim. 4:5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist…

Proverbs 11:25   A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

In Matt. 9:36 Jesus described the crowd as being "harassed, weary, confused and helpless like sheep without a shepherd"

They were wandering aimlessly without hope, meaning or a purpose for living.  Read Jer. 29:11

The old preacher Vance Havner used to say, "The tragedy of our time is that the situation is desperate but the saints are not.

Is. 51:16 And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens,

1 Cor. 3:6 Some plant some water but God gives the increase~

Do not fear about telling others about God’s Love.

You can by the Power of the Holy Spirit God has given you~ Phil.4:13, Luke 18:27 1 Tim. 1:4
