My Times Are In Your Hands

Adjustments.jpeg

My times are in your hands…” Psalm 31:15

In our lives, oftentimes we are waiting for something; waiting for a dream to come to pass, waiting to meet the right person, waiting for a problem to turn around. When things aren’t happening as fast as we would like, it’s easy to get frustrated. But you have to realize that the moment you prayed and started going forward God established a set time to bring the promise to pass.

God has a set time for your opportunity. There is a set time for that problem to turn around, a set time for your promotion, your breakthrough and the desires of your heart. It may be tomorrow, or next week, or sometime this year.

When you understand the time has already been set, it takes all the pressure off. That doesn’t mean you don’t go forward in Authority- but it means that you don’t have to live worried, wondering when this is ever going to happen. You’ll relax and enjoy your life knowing and believing that the promise has already been given in Christ and He has scheduled your answer and it is on the way!

Pray this prayer;

Father, I choose to trust in Your timing. I trust that You have my best in mind. I believe that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. Thank You for ordering my steps and leading me in the life of blessing You have in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe

More Than Enough

Adjustments.jpeg

So it was after everyone was full, Jesus told His disciples, ‘Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.” – John 6:12

In the Gospel of John we read that Jesus fed a crowd of five thousand with only five loaves. That day, everyone had more than enough to eat and there were still twelve baskets full of bread. That’s because we serve a God of abundance!

I love that Jesus told the disciples to collect all the leftovers “so that nothing is wasted.”

With God, nothing is ever wasted. He’ll never waste an experience; He’ll never waste a hurt; He’ll never waste a dream; He’ll never waste even a single piece of bread.

God is still in the miracle-working business.

He is still our Creator, and He is a Restorer. If you’ve felt like you’ve wasted years of your life in the wrong job, hanging around the wrong people, doing the wrong things, God will gather those years and restore them back to you. He’ll take those experiences that the enemy meant for your harm and turn them around for your good. He’ll make you stronger, wiser and better off than you were before. He can launch you further into your destiny than before. Be encouraged today because with God, all things are possible and nothing is ever wasted!

Pray this prayer;
Father, I give You every bit of my life – my past, my present and my future. Thank You for taking every experience in my life and turning it around for my good in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

The Promise Of Victory

Adjustments.jpeg

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ... 2 Cor. 2:14

Isn’t it wonderful to know that God promises to always lead us into Victory?

That means no matter what you are facing today, no matter what’s going on in the world around you, no matter what anybody says, you should always be thanking God because victory is always on the way!

You don’t have to wait for everything to be perfect before you decide to celebrate what God is going to do in your life.

Praise is putting action behind your faith. In the middle of that adversity or tough time, start making a list of who you’re going to invite to your victory celebration. That means if you’re in the hospital, start planning what you’re going to do when you get out. If you lost some money, start planning your coming-out-of-debt party. When things don’t look good in the natural, remember, we serve a supernatural God. With God leading you into victory, you can always plan for Increase. You can plan for Restoration. You can plan for a Comeback, and you can plan for Victory because He is leading and guiding you in Jesus’ Name!

Pray this prayer-

Heavenly Father, I give You thanks and praise today for the promise of victory. Give me Your vision for the future so that I can move confidently into the abundant life You have for me in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

God Is Greater

Adjustments.jpeg

...and do not give the devil an opportunity to work.” Ephesians 4:27

So many are living with less than God’s best because they’ve allowed fear to creep in and take root in their lives. Fear is the greatest weapon the enemy uses to try to hold us back.

Fear is not from God. Scripture tells us that fear brings torment. It’s designed to paralyze us and keep us from God’s blessings.

The good news is that God is greater than fear.

His power in you is greater than any power that comes against you. (1 Jn 4:4) But in order to walk in His power, you have to close the door on the enemy. Understand, the enemy can’t have access to your life unless you open a door and give him access. That’s why we have to be careful about what we watch, what we listen to, what we read, and what we say. When we open ourselves to fear, we give the enemy opportunity.

If you’ve allowed fear to steal from you in any area of life, today you can be free—you can be finished with fear. Conquering the enemy starts by making the choice to close the door on fear, and instead, meditate on God’s Promises. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony! (Rev.12:11)

Let His truth sink down into your heart. Declare it out of your mouth. Let Him set you free and lead you into victory as you close the door on fear!

Pray this Prayer;

Father, I come to You today declaring that I am finished with fear. Thank You for giving me power, love and a sound mind. I choose to stand on Your Promises. Fill me with Your peace and joy today as I move forward in Victory with You in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Believe & Declare

Adjustments.jpeg

Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” Acts 3:6

The disabled beggar was expecting the ordinary from Peter, a few coins, but God showed up and exceeded his expectations. The man didn’t see it coming, but that one moment of favor, that one exceeded expectation changed his whole world. I can hear him saying, “I never dreamed I’d be able to walk or work or see this fulfilled!”

God has some of these “I never dreamed” blessings in store for you. Similar to the disabled man, sometimes we’ve struggled in an area for so long that we’ve gotten comfortable with it. We’re expecting a few coins, something to sustain us, but God is about to do a new thing. You’re believing for the ordinary; God is going to the extraordinary. He’s going to take you where you’ve never been. No more coins, no more dysfunction, no more being stuck in your career. You’re about to come into exceeded expectations. So why don’t you put your faith out there?

Pray this prayer;

Father, thank You for loving me and having such an amazing plan for my life. Help me to expect the “I never dreamed” blessings You have for me. I believe and declare that You are doing exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Whom Shall I Fear

Adjustments.jpeg

The Lord is My light and My Salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord Is The Strength of My Life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

With God on your side, there is nothing to be afraid of. There is a force in you that is more powerful than any opposition.

No matter how big that enemy looks, Greater Is He That Is In You than anything that comes against you. Refuse to give up, Refuse to fall into fear, Refuse to let it overwhelm you. When you have this warrior mentality, this “I can handle it Because Christ Is In Me” attitude, all the forces of darkness cannot keep you from your destiny.

Remember, the enemy doesn’t have the final say; God has the final say. And when you put your faith and trust in Him, He says, I will always cause you to triumph.

Be strong and be of good courage. Keep God first place in your life and move forward in confidence knowing that He is working things out for Your good.

Pray this prayer;

Father, today I choose to put my trust in You, my light and salvation. Thank You for Your perfect love which casts out all fear in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Victory Is Yours

Adjustments.jpeg

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 1 John 5:4

Fear always presents itself as much bigger than it really is. It’s always the worst-case scenario. It always tries to get you worried, anxious, uptight and panicked. Fear’s goal is to separate you from God by trying to get you to doubt His Word. But when the spirit of fear comes, recognize that it has no power unless you give it power. Don’t give it power by speaking what fear speaks. Don’t give it power by meditating on it. Instead, let the power of the Word of God Rise Up within you. Declare what God says; declare that God has given you all authority in heaven and earth. Declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Remember that no matter how big fear presents itself, it’s no match for The Power of Almighty God. When you yield yourself to Him, you tap into His power. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. God is bigger than your problems and bigger than fear. Let faith rise up in your heart because faith is the victory that overcomes the world.

Pray this prayer;

Father, thank You for Your perfect love which drives out all fear. I choose to believe  Your Word which feeds my faith and empowers me to overcome. I bless You and praise You today for Your goodness and grace in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be At Peace

IMG_4670.jpeg

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."

 Phil. 4:6

So many people today are living uptight, worried and anxious about the future, filled with frustration and concern.

In the natural there may be good reason, but understand, living that way is not God’s best for you.

God doesn’t want us to be filled with anxiety and frustration; He wants us to live in peace. You can find rest in Him knowing that no matter what is happening around you, God Almighty has His hand on you.

The next time you’re tempted to worry or be anxious about something, remember this verse. God invites us to come to Him. In fact, the Bible says He rewards those who diligently seek Him. But notice, we can’t just come to Him any old way. He wants us to come to Him with a heart believing, with gratitude and thanksgiving. Begin by simply saying, “Father in heaven, thank You for the privilege to come before You. Thank You for hearing my prayers.”

As you come to Him with an open and receiving heart, He will hear you and fill you with His peace and joy to live free from anxiety all the days of your life!

Pray this prayer

"Heavenly Father, today I choose to be anxious for nothing. I choose to set aside my worries and concerns. I thank You for Your faithfulness to meet every need in my life in Jesus’ Name. Amen."

You Are His Workmanship

Adjustments.jpeg

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

God has already prepared paths for you to take in your future! When God laid out the plan for your life, He lined up the right people, the right circumstances and the right breaks.

In your future, He’s already released favor, supernatural opportunities and divine connections.

The breaks you need in life have already been preordained to come across your path.

We are called to believe in faith and go out each day and be the person God has called us to be you will walk into these appointments of favor. It will be just as if you stumbled into God’s blessings! Yes; the enemy will try to throw obstacles your way and attempt to discourage from Gods call on your life. But understand we jump those obstacles in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

When you really understand this principle, you’ll begin to get excited about every single day! You’ll have a spring in your step as you think about what blessing is coming next! It could be today. It could be tomorrow. It could be next week.

Keep expecting. Keep believing. Stay focused on the fact that God has already released into your future everything you need to fulfill your destiny. Start declaring seasons of increase over your life.

Declare that favor is on you and opportunities are coming. As you do, you’ll move forward into the Revelation of the favor and blessing God has ordered for you!

Pray this Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for setting up a good life for me. Thank You for ordering good things for my future. Help me to understand Your goodness more so that I can trust You and follow Your path for me all the days of my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe

HAPPY NEW YEAR

IMG_4623.jpeg

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18–19

Happy New Year! Can you believe it’s 2020?
Just a quick life changing Word to start this Amazing New Year off Right with 2020 Vision-

We’ve all had negative things happen to us. People did us wrong, the company let us go, someone was rude to us. It’s easy to go through life carrying offenses, trapped in self-pity, blaming ourselves and others.

Because we’re always looking back, reliving the negative, we end up carrying around emotional baggage that weighs us down.

One of the best things you can learn to do is drop it. Whether it happened twenty years ago or twenty minutes ago, don’t carry negative baggage from yesterday into today. Last year into this New Year.

Now do your part and let it go.

Past hurts occurred once. Don’t let them continue to hurt you by always thinking about them.

As long as you’re dwelling on the past, you’re going to miss “the new things” God has for you and wants to do. You need to be looking forward to new beginnings. You can’t experience new opportunities as long as you’re reliving old hurts and old failures.

Start this year off Right with 2020 Vision- Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith... Heb. 12:2

Pray this prayer:

“Father, thank You that I can be free from all the negative baggage that comes from carrying past offenses, guilt, and blame. Help me to treat the past as the past, that it’s over. I look forward to the New Things You’re doing in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Jacquelyn and I want to wish You a Happy New Year-

See You Sunday at 10 AM YAY

We Love You!

The New You

IMG_4612.jpeg

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; old things are  passed away! Behold All Things Are New 2 Corinthians 5:17

As a believer in Christ, you are a new creation! You have a new spirit, a new walk, a new life!

Are there “old” things” in your life that you are trying to get rid of? Maybe you have old behaviors or addictions that you want to change. Remember, the new is here. It’s a new year, and it’s time to be the new you. Let this year be the year you break old habits and addictions. Let this be the year that you move forward into a new life of victory. And your new life includes all the spiritual, mental and physical blessings the Lord has promised in His Word. You have a promise of peace, health, protection and provision. Be encouraged today and know that no matter what is happening in your life right now, you can embrace the new life God has prepared for you. Make the choice today to leave the old behind—leave behind old behavior, old thinking, old words. Embrace the new by faith, and you’ll move forward into the life of blessing the Lord has in store for you.

Pray This Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for making me new. Help me to receive your Revelation of understanding Your plan for me so that I can fully embrace Your promises. I choose today to leave behind the old life and receive Your empowering Your Spirit today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe

Happy New Year! We Love you!!

SEE YOU SUNDAY YAY…

Forget The Former Things

IMG_4610.jpeg

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. Isaiah 43:18

Too often, people spend so much time and energy dwelling on the past, dwelling on mistakes, or dwelling on disappointments. They don’t even realize that their focus is keeping them from moving forward in life.

But in order to fully experience God’s blessings, you have to let go of those past hurts; you have to forget the former things to make room for the new.

God has a new beginning in store for you, and the way you prepare for it is by getting rid of the old. Don’t spend time focusing on where you’ve been; spend time focusing on where you’re going. When you “forget the former things,” it means you’re not worried about the past anymore. You don’t allow it to dictate your future. You may remember past events, but you don’t feel the pain like you used to. You’ve opened your heart to receive God’s healing. Begin today by declaring that your past is over! Forget the former things and receive the restoration and victory God has in store for you!

Pray this prayer-

Father, thank You for the life of blessing and victory You have prepared for me. I choose to forget the past. I choose to forgive. I choose to open my heart to You and receive everything You have in store for me in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Love in Christ; Pastor Joe

Merry Christmas From Pastor Joe & Jacquelyn

Adjustments.jpeg

Jacquelyn and I want to wish you a very Merry Merry Christmas-

I would like to share a brief but enlightening word with you-

The scripture tells us;

“He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all—how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32.

Imagine waking up on Christmas morning and seeing a pile of presents under the tree but never opening them. Imagine that your friends and family spent a lot of money on you, buying you things you need and desire but could never afford. Imagine that you even know what was inside those packages, but just decided to let them sit under the tree day in and day out, year after year. After all, now you have what you’ve always dreamed of. You own whatever is in those boxes. If anyone asked, you’d say, “Yes, I have that.” But it wouldn’t do you any good because you would never be able to use those gifts unless you took the time to unwrap those packages.

It’s the same way with God. He wants you to have an abundant life. His gifts are all right there for you wrapped up in the Word of God. You “open” His gift by meditating on His Word, believing His promises and declaring it out of your mouth.

This Christmas Day I encourage you to unwrap your gifts! Don’t let a single present sit “under the tree” any longer. Jesus paid a precious price so you could have both eternal life and abundant life. Unwrap your gifts and live in His fullness today!

Pray this prayer;

“Father, today I receive every good and perfect promise You have for me. I choose to take a step of faith to activate Your Word in my life. Teach me, by Your Spirit, to walk and believe Your Word in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

God sent His Son To us in Love

His Son in love said yes to come

The greatest gift Has now been given

The Son of Man Sent down from Heaven

From Heaven to Earth On the most

Holiest of nights Came to us

A magnificent light

The people in darkness Have seen The Light

They followed that light On this glorious night

When He was rejected No room to be born

He came to accept us when our spirit’s reborn

They came to adorn Him

With gifts brought unto Him

Myrrh, frankincense, gold

All foretold of how He’d die

Restoring our eternal life

Look into His Eyes of grace

Seek the light Within His face

He’s the way Out of darkness

Even on this Very night

The shadow of death

No longer a fright

All those who Receive Him

Will have New sight

For Love, Joy, Salvation

Will bring them delight

Deliverance Redemption,

Hold Fast

Adjustments.jpeg

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised).” – Hebrews 10:23

“Hold fast” is not a phrase we often use in this culture. But in the original Greek, hold fast means not only to embrace, but to embrace with force as if someone is trying to take something from you. In other words, you’ve got to have a firm grip or you’re going to lose out! And notice what we are supposed to hold fast to—our profession, our declaration of faith.

I like to think of it sort of like a tug of war. You’re on one end and the enemy is on the other. He’s trying to pull that rope out of your hand. He’s trying to steal your hope, your joy and get you to speak negative words of doubt and unbelief. But you’ve got to be determined and stand strong. You’ve got to persevere and hold fast. Don’t let the enemy pull the seed of faith out of your heart! You might need to dig your heels in and get a new grip, but don’t you dare let go! Keep speaking words of faith. Keep speaking words of hope. Keep declaring God’s Word and keep holding fast to the profession of your faith!

Pray This Prayer  “Father, today I choose to hold fast to my profession of faith in You. I know that You are faithful, and I believe that You will complete everything that You’ve started in my life. I bless You and magnify You above all else in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

God Is Your Refuge

Adjustments.jpeg

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” -Psalm 46:1

God is always with you. That means He is present at all times – continually, perpetually, throughout all time. In your day of trouble, He promises to be a help to you. How is He your help? “Help” means something different to each person. That’s because “help” is specific to your need. If you need money to pay your bills, a  doughnut isn’t going to be much help! But we serve a God who is very specific. He is involved in the details of your life. And because He is always with you, He always knows exactly what you need and is always ready to provide it!

Today, are you facing trouble or adversity? Know that God is with you. Look to Him for help. Trust that He has the answer, and that He is working things out in your favor. Just continue to believe Him and follow His direction, He will lead you in the way that you should go. He will comfort you, revive you, restore you and bless you! He will be your ever-present help because He is forever faithful to His Word! He Will Come Through For You. Be at peace- Col. 3:15

Pray this prayer-

Father, thank You for being my ever-present help. I trust today that You are with me, that You are comforting me and restoring my soul. I lift my eyes to You this day. Thank you that you are Helping me in everything concerning my life as You direct my steps in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

He Will Deliver You

Adjustments.jpeg

Daniel, servant of the living God! Was your God, whom you serve so faithfully, able to rescue you from the lions?” Daniel 6:20

Most people won’t ever literally come face to face with a hungry lion, but we’ve all been in situations where we felt as though we are about to be “eaten up” or destroyed.

Daniel lived a life of being a believer in the God of Israel and found favor with the king. The king kept promoting him and giving him more authority, which made the other administrators jealous and angry. They manipulated the king into signing a law that Daniel could not follow. Daniel prayed and still found himself in the lions’ den. How would you respond in that situation? I’m sure Daniel believed that God would deliver him. I’m sure he hoped it would be before he was thrown into that den. Have you ever prayed and prayed for something and things just kept getting worse? Daniel trusted that God was working His plan for His glory.

In the end, Daniel was protected and his enemies were destroyed.

When it looks as though your situation is hopeless and you feel you are headed for the lions’ den, don’t be discouraged because God has the final say.

Keep believing Him; keep trusting Him.

He’s promised to never leave you nor forsake you. He’ll shut the mouth of the lion; He’ll silence your accusers; He’ll stand with you in the fire, and He will lead you into victory in every area of your life.

Pray this prayer-

Father in heaven, You are my Light in dark times. I thank You for Your faithfulness and trust that You have a wonderful plan for my life. No matter how things seem, I will put my hope and trust in You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe.

A New Thing

Adjustments.jpeg

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:19

Have you ever found yourself waiting for something? Waiting for that promotion? Waiting for that relationship? Waiting for a breakthrough? Waiting for something new? Well, I’ve got good news for you: I believe today is the day you’ve been waiting for!

I believe God is doing a new thing for you today.

Notice in today’s verse, the question is: Do you not perceive it? This tells me that God can be doing something in our lives, but if we are so focused on our circumstances, we can miss what God is doing.

That’s why it’s so important to lift your eyes toward Him and declare His promises over your life. No matter what your circumstances look like, declare that God is at work.

Declare victory, declare blessing, declare hope, and declare that today is the day that you’ve been waiting for!

Pray this Prayer

Father, thank You for working in my life. I thank You that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I declare that today is a new day, and You are going to do something special in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Love in Christ-

God Is Directing You

Adjustments.jpeg

“A person’s heart plans their way, but the Lord directs their steps.” Proverbs 16:9

Many times, God will use our experiences in life as stepping stones to prepare us for what He has in store next. Scripture tells us that He’ll even take the things the enemy tries to bring against us and turn them around and use them for our good. He is always leading us on a journey of preparation.

That’s why it’s so important to keep our eyes focused on Him. We have to trust that when we are believing Him- even if we don’t understand- He is ordering our steps! If something is not happening on your timetable, remind yourself, “God knows what He is doing. He has my best interest at heart. God is preparing me.  While you’re waiting, don’t make the mistake of trying to figure everything out. If you’re constantly trying to figure things out, that will only frustrate you. Turn it over to God. Declare, “God, my times are in Your hands. (Psalm 31:15)

I’m not going to worry because I trust that You are leading me on a journey of preparation for all the wonderful blessings You have in store for me.

Pray This Prayer

Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I trust that You are leading and guiding me. I trust that You are preparing me for all the wonderful blessings You have in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
