 If you want to fulfill God's purpose for your life, you must first understand that you have a Divine Destiny.

You will never fulfill what you don't know you have, and you must learn to leave the past behind.

This generation loves its technology, scientific discoveries and all its physical conveniences such as the world has never before known.

But no other generation has had as many cares of life as we do or faced the perplexing social, psychological and mental disturbances we face today.

Despite all of our advances, humanity as a whole stands in desperate need.

Although the devil tries to fill our lives with pain and sorrow, we can alter those plans through Faith, Believing and Trust in Our God.

We as believers hold the key to our own destiny, because God has already made a way of escape through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ! As a result we can enjoy All that God has for us.

You and I have two choices: We can either be complacent, or we can fulfill our divine destiny!

You may have been unconsciously choosing the first one, but You can decide to follow after God's plan for your life.  It’s a choice!

Once you realize that you have a divine destiny and make a decision to pursue God's plan for your life, you need to take care of some things before you begin the task of fulfilling your destiny.

The first thing you need to do is to leave the past behind. You will never be able to move forward in life until you let go of the past.

Paul says in Philippians 3:13–14: "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended [or obtained, or excelled]: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

I want you to see something in this passage. The Apostle Paul said, "I count not myself to have excelled." He then went on to say that he forgot those things which were behind him. That's an interesting statement for this great man of God to make, because not only did Paul have to forget success, he also had to forget failure!

As Paul wrote those words, I'm sure his mind went back to the day he held the coats of believers and had them stoned to death including Stephen, one of God's chosen servants (Acts 7:58–8:3).

In addition to forgetting his mistakes, Paul also had to forget his successes. His impressive accomplishments in the Jewish Religion before he came to Christ.  Also after he came to Christ, in Athens, he met with learned Greek philosophers and proclaimed the "philosophy" of the Gospel. Many believed and were saved. Their salvation was a great success for Paul. Here was a man from Tarsus, an outpost of the Roman empire, standing on Mars Hill with the greatest philosophers in Greece—and he matches them word for word and argument for argument through the power of God (Acts 17:16–33). That was a great success. But Paul had to forget it in order to move forward in his divine destiny.

Paul also had to forget that he started one of the largest churches in history—the Church at Ephesus. If you will study the Bible, you will find that this church had between 20,000 and 40,000 members! That's a pretty good-sized church!

Yet Paul said, "I count not myself to have accomplished anything, but this one thing I do—forgetting those things which are behind, I press toward the mark."

Paul forgot success. He forgot failure. He forgot everything that happened to him in the past, because it was history.

Too many of us want to live in the past, but it's time to move on to the greater things God has for us in the future.

Doing that will take commitment.

Too many people do not realize what commitment means. Paul showed his commitment when he wrote, "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and REACHING FORTH . . ." (Phil. 3:13). Reaching forth involves effort, and that is spelledw-o-r-k.

Are you still interested in following God's plan for your life and fulfilling your divine destiny?

If so, it means you have some work to do. Oh my! We don’t like that word today- 

You have to reach forth, strain, and strive to obtain "the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (v. 14).

Paul said, "I press toward the mark." Well, when you're "pressing" to get something, you're putting forth a lot of energy and effort.

You're going to discover very quickly whether you want to take the effort it takes to be this kind of believer because the devil is going to fight you. You're going to have to choose between running back to your comfort zone or pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

When you make the decision to go with God and you plant His Word in your heart, there isn't any place for you to go but up and over the top!

Make the commitment today to forget both the failures and successes of your past.

Press into All God has for You!

Decide today to leave the past behind and start pressing toward Your Divine Destiny!

The Gift Of Righteousness

Romans 5:17 says, “17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the Gift of Righteousness Reign in life through the One man, Jesus Christ!”

Romans 5:17 talks about. This verse goes on to say that you shall reign by Jesus Christ. Now where are you to reign?

Many unfortunately have a limited belief system and as a result they can’t expect much in this life. 

They believe You can be saved, but you have to continue to be ruled by the devil—by sin, sickness, poverty, fear, and bondage. You have to go through life this way until you finally barely make it into Heaven. But that’s not what the Bible teaches.

Romans 5:17 says we can reign in life—in this life—by Christ Jesus. Weymouth’s translation says, “For if by the trespasses of the one, death reigned as king through the one, much more shall they who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign as kings in the realm of life.” We are to reign in the here-and-now!

The King James Version doesn’t use the word “kings” as Weymouth’s does, but the very idea of reigning brings the thought of “kings” to mind.

The very notion of reigning carries with it the idea of ruling, of dominion, and of having authority.

Paul said we “reign in life.” We have the authority to rule and reign and have dominion in our life—in the life we have here and now!

Someone might say, “Well, I don’t see very many people ruling and reigning in life.”

One reason is that this truth hasn’t been taught as it should be.

Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge . . . .” Notice this verse doesn’t say sinners are destroyed for lack of knowledge. It says God’s people are destroyed because of their lack of knowledge.

This infers that if God’s people had knowledge of who they really are in Christ, of who God is, and of the rights and privileges of their dominion—they wouldn’t be destroyed.

One reason Satan is often able to reign, or rule, in the life of Christians is because those Christians do not realize the authority that has been given to them.

Many times Christians think Jesus is going to do everything for them; they do not realize they have a part to play.

Notice that Romans 5:17 doesn’t say, “Jesus Christ will reign through you.”

No! It says, “…They (that’s us) which receive Abundance of Grace and of the Gift of Righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”

This verse says that You and I will reign. Of course, it’s by, or because of, Jesus Christ that we have this authority, but He has given us the authority to Rule and Reign!

Many times people say, “I’ve left it up to the Lord; He’s going to do it.” But, no, the real truth about the matter is, He has left it up to you!

Let’s find out our job and position. Let’s find out what we’re supposed to do!

Romans 5:17 mentions two things we have received: “Abundance of Grace and The Gift of Righteousness”. It’s receiving the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness that enables you to Reign. (See Revelation 1:6  & 1 Peter 2:9)

If you don’t know what you’ve received, you’ll be hindered in Reigning.

I’ve taught you a lot about grace, and thank God for His grace.

But not only have we received abundance of grace; we’ve also received the “Gift of Righteousness.”

What does the “gift of righteousness” mean?

First, it’s a gift, which means we didn’t do anything to earn or deserve it.

Second, it means we have been made right with God.

It means we have right-standing with God!

If you’re in right-standing with God, there is nothing coming between you and Him.

If you’re in right-standing with God, you can’t be in any better standing with Him. That is a truth you need to learn and get firmly settled in your heart and mind.

The Bible never talks about growing in righteousness. The Bible does talk about growing as newborn babes, desiring the sincere milk of the Word that you may grow thereby (1 Pet. 2:2). And Paul talks about faith that can grow exceedingly (2 Thess. 1:3). But nowhere does the New Testament ever talk about growing in righteousness.

The truth is, you can’t grow in righteousness. In other words, you can’t have any more right-standing with God than you have right now.

Even when you get to Heaven, you won’t have any better standing with God than you have right now.

You will never be any more righteous—or any less righteous—than you are right now!

Did you know that a newborn believer has the same standing with God as the person who has been a believer for 50 years? How is that possible?

It’s all through Jesus and what He did for us!

Unlike the sacrificial blood in the Old Covenant , the blood of Jesus Christ does not cover our sins.

The blood of Jesus of the New Covenant (Read Hebrews Chapter 8) washes away our sins (Rev. 1:5). We’re not a “covered creature”; we’re a new creature! Second Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

God doesn’t make any unrighteous new creatures. We have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 5:21)!

As new creatures, we don’t want to practice sin living in our old nature, and God doesn’t want us to either. We are Now Living a New Life in a New Nature.  But if we do miss it, provision has been made for us.

First John 2:1 says, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” The Greek word translated “advocate” means lawyer or one who pleads our case. We’ve got a lawyer in the “Supreme Court” of Heaven pleading our case. Who is it? Jesus Christ the Righteous!

If I chose to walk in my old nature and lose my sense of righteousness, I quickly turn to God and say, “ Lord,  I missed it, thank you that I’m forgiven.”

God sees what Jesus did to wash away sin, and He counts me righteous because of Jesus!

What does John say regarding this? He reminds us that when we fail as believers, we have an Advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ.

Because of our Lord Jesus and what He has accomplished at the cross, we have forgiveness and we still stand righteous before God even when we’ve missed it.

As the apostle Paul reminded the Corinthian believers who had failed that they were still the temple of the Holy Spirit, John reminds us of who we are in Christ and who we have representing us at God’s right hand.

Can you see that the Bible’s answer to overcoming sin is always to remind believers of Their Righteous identity in Christ? The Gift of Righteousness!

This is not to encourage us to sin but to encourage us to look to Our Lord Jesus and Live In The Victory Of our new Nature- to see our sins punished at the Cross and to Live Victoriously and Gloriously for Him.

That is what true repentance is all about—turning to the cross and returning to His Grace!

When you fail, know that you can talk to God honestly about your failing, but do it with a Revelation of the Cross of our Lord Jesus. See your sins punished in His Body and Yourself Washed, Cleansed and receive His forgiveness (once and for all Hebrews 10:10) and His unmerited favor to Reign over your sins.

That means You can stand in the Presence of God without a sense of spiritual inferiority or condemnation. It also means that instead of being ruled by Satan and all of his works, (hate, un-forgiveness bitterness, resentment, slander, accusations and no peace) you can now Rule and Reign over him!

Walking in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5:22) and the guarantee of Our New Covenant.

When you realize this truth and it fully registers in your spirit, you’re going to rise up as a giant in spiritual Victory set free to run the race set before you.

Rise Above The Pressure

We saw God work in remarkable ways in 2018, and we give Him all the glory.

We are grateful to Him for continuing to open doors for us to help people understand the Victorious Power of the Gospel.

As we come to a close of 2018 God desires you to be more victorious than ever.

I believe God desires you to have a prosperous and successful non-frustrated life.

First Peter 5:7 instructs us to cast all of our cares and concerns on the Lord.

I know this is not always easy to do. But when the pressure is on, it is the only way to walk above the circumstances and not be buried by them.

The next time you are under pressure and you are tempted to cave in, here are some things you can do. If you follow these four simple steps, you will be able to overcome pressure instead of pressure overcoming you.

First of all Keep Your Focus on God-

Isaiah 26:3 says,You will keep him in perfect peace,

Whose mind is stayed on You,

Because he trusts in You.

Many people who encounter a crisis fail to keep their minds stayed on the Lord. They focus on the negative and only see what is going wrong. Instead of believing their situation can have a positive outcome, they begin to doubt that they will ever recover.

Focusing on the problem will never do a thing but keep you frustrated. In fact, the more you think about the problem instead of the Problem Solver, the weaker your faith becomes.

To rise above the pressure, you have to think on the right things. You must replace negative thoughts with good, scriptural positive thoughts. Doubt has to be replaced with Faith.

The Apostle Paul told the Philippians to "let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 2:5).

What was in the mind of Christ? All things are possible if you can believe (Mark 9:23). Whatever is impossible with man is possible with God (Luke 18:27).

Problems become small or great depending on the way you think about them. We see an example of this in the Book of Matthew when Peter walked on water.

On Jesus' one-word command, "Come," Peter jumped out of a boat in the face of a strong wind and walked on the choppy waves. He continued walking on the water as long as he maintained an unwavering focus on Christ. But when Peter took his eyes off of Jesus and looked at how strong the wind was, he began to sink. (See Matt. 14:25-32.)

Your success in the midst of the storms you encounter is determined by how well you control your thought life.

No one can control your thoughts but you. You determine what you think about and how you react to any given situation.

Secondly, Focus on Your Potential in God-

You probably don't realize the potential you have in God. Although you can't accomplish some things in your own strength, you can accomplish anything in God's strength.

Instead of focusing on your weaknesses, focus on the strength potential you have in Lord. Joel 3:10 says, "Let the weak say, I am strong." No matter what is surrounding you, "I am strong" needs to be your daily confession.

You've got to believe that Christ is in you. Col. 1:27.  The "Christ In You" is what is important. That's the part that will see you through any adversity.

People often ask, "How is God going to turn this situation around?" I don't know, but God does!

Instead of focusing on "how," focus on the author and finisher of your faith (see Heb. 12:2). He is the One Who can give you the ability to triumph over your circumstances.

Thirdly, Focus on What God Is Saying-

Have you ever been talking to someone and you realized they were not hearing a word you were saying? Although they were right in front of you, their mind was someplace else.

God is talking all the time. Are you listening when He is speaking? Isaiah 55:3 says, "Incline your ear, and come unto Me: hear, and your soul shall live."

The main way God speaks to His children is through His Word. However, when you're under a great deal of pressure, do you run to the Word to find strength and peace? Or are you so focused on the problem that you neglect to pray and read Gods promises? The Word of God contains the answers you desperately need.

It is through prayer and meditating on the Word that God will show you what steps to take to see you through adversity.

Lastly, Focus on Speaking out loud Gods promises-

Speak out loud the life giving promises of His Word over the situation.

You have to kept your mouth shut to complaining about anything that would not glorify God or His Word. 

Psalm 105:2 says, "Talk of all His wondrous works." Speak Of His Power To Deliver! 

Throughout the Book of Psalms, you will see that the various writers “Talked” about the bigness of God. They exalt His greatness. They praised His goodness. They set an example for you and me.

Anytime you are under pressure, begin to talk about Who God is and how big He is.

Put the devil and doubt in their place and remind them that God is bigger than anything they are trying to bring about.

You may not "feel" like talking about God when you're under a lot of pressure.

But especially in times of adversity, you need to talk about the goodness and bigness of God.

As you do, you will be revived and released from the pressure that is on you.

It doesn't matter how bleak your future looks; God is bigger.

It doesn't matter what anyone says; God is able to bring you through.

As you follow these steps, you will feel the pressure lift off of you.

You'll be able to look at your circumstances with an assurance that God will see you through.

For Unto To Us A Son Is Given

Dear Friend;

As you receive this Letter of Christmas Cheer you may wonder if it’s possible to experience Peace and Joy In a world that is in so much turmoil.  There is political and social uproar; earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, terrorism, and every type of calamity.  Where and how do you find peace in all that is happening?

The Peace you are looking for is found in an event that changed history and separated time- that event is the Birth of Christ.

Christmas is the time of year we celebrate the Birth of our Savior.  When I think of Jesus' birth, I always think of the angels telling the shepherds that the Savior of the world was born.  Jesus’ birth, life, death and resurrection is recorded not only in history but also in the Bible.

"Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: 'Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!' " —Luke 2:8–14

What a glorious night that was. The Prince of Peace was born! Jesus came to give us Peace.  Peace with God and peace with each other. And you can Have the Peace He Promised.  Peace when everything around you seems to be falling apart- Paul The Apostle called it the peace that passes all understanding. (Phil. 4:7)

Before Jesus Christ left the earth, He reminded us of this gift: "I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid" John 14:27.

How do you have this peace God promised?  By receiving God’s love through what Jesus did on the cross when he took our sin and judgement upon himself, cleansing us from all our sin and giving us His righteousness. 

Now we can have Peace to approach God our Heavenly Father. This Peace is amazing because it comes with Joy, Love and The Power Of The Holy Spirit. Yes, Jesus was born, but His mission was to die for the sin of the World- Jesus Said, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. (John 3:16-17)

The step to real Peace is by simply believing what God did for you at the Cross and accepting Gods amazing gift.  This will bring you the Peace you’ve been searching for- Peace in the midst of any storm.

There is no Peace without having accepted the Prince of Peace as your Lord and Savior.  I encourage you if you have never asked Jesus in your heart to do so, Now!

Romans 10:9–10 declares, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved."

If you once knew Christ but have not been living in peace with His Word, I encourage you to receive God's forgiveness and return your affection to Him.

We would have no peace had Jesus not paid the supreme sacrifice for it. There was a price paid for peace. God loved us so much that He willingly manifested himself in the flesh of His only Son, sent to the earth, born of a woman to redeem us.

It disturbs me that some Christians rely on chemical alternatives rather than look to the Peace Giver. God can get you through any storm without altering your body chemistry.  He is the problem solver, therefore you have been made an Overcomer through Christ;

How do I keep my peace of heart on the Lord at all times?  By renewing your mind and reciting God’s Word.  Isaiah 26:3–4 says, "You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind is stayed on You, because He commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock."

Throughout the day, thank the Lord for what He has done for you.  You now have continuous access to his throne of grace to receive help in your time of need.

Choose to dwell on positive things rather than negative thoughts. Satan tries to bombard your mind with worry, fear, anxiety, confusion, and doubt. I encourage you to follow Gods instructions in Philippians 4:8–9:

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true( that Christ is your advocate), whatever things are noble, whatever things are just( he justified you on the cross), whatever things are pure ( you’ve been made pure by the blood of Jesus), whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you."

"The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail."—Isaiah 58:11 

Can you imagine the scene? The shepherds were on the hillside at night tending their flocks. Suddenly an angel appeared and spoke to them. Then a host of angels appeared, saying, “Glory to God in the highest. Peace on earth. Goodwill toward men!” Meanwhile, the magi—bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh—followed a bright star, unsure of their destination but searching for their King. And in a manger filled with hay, surrounded by donkeys and roaming sheep, lay Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. This was the child whom Isaiah had long ago prophesied of—the Mighty God, the Prince of Peace, Emmanuel( God with us) (Isa. 7:14, 9:6). Many hearts had longed for this day. Now it had finally come!

Galatians 4:4–5 says, “WHEN THE RIGHT TIME CAME, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons” and in Romans 8:1-4, “Now there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh , could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for the sin , he condemned sin in the flesh in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who no longer walk according to the flesh but now by the Spirit of God in us.

He reached out to us when we could not reach out to Him because of the law of sin and death that kept us slaves. He came so that we could be His children, no longer bound by sin or shame but free to walk boldly into the throne room of Heaven to Worship the Father for all He is, has done and all we receive from him.

Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem at exactly the right time. He was born so that He could offer us Forgiveness, Healing and Peace.  When your struggling He’s the anchor of your soul. When your sick or hurting receive Him as your Healer, when your facing lack, know he’s your Abundant Provision. He came so that you might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

What a joyous time of year!  Not because of Christmas trees, presents or decorations, but it’s about Jesus being born, it’s about Jesus saving your soul, so invite Him in and be born again and Christmas for you will truly begin.

Receive His amazing love today and know the abundant life he came to give you on earth as it will be in all eternity.

Pray this prayer out loud right where you are-

Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus- I believe He was beaten, hung, and died in my place, I believe you rose him from the dead because He conquered the power of sin and death to give me new life, I believe you sent me the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, who you sent in Jesus name that he will teach me all things and will remind me of everything you have said to me. Your peace I receive In Jesus Name Amen- (John 14:26)

Now believe and trust God for His peace and mind to dwell in you.

Christmas Inter Peace

Dear Friend In Christ;

I am praying you will have an amazing Christmas season. One of the many things that can be a big distraction of receiving all the blessings Of this wonderful time year is the spirit of offense- Opportunities to give into offense present themselves to everyone. No one is exempt! We all must continually guard our hearts against the temptation to become offended and harbor grudges and other negative emotions.

Where does offense come from? It comes from Satan. Ephesians 6:12 says, "We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Offense is the enemy's strategy to keep us from fulfilling God's peace and ultimately can destroy us. Certainly, people can yield to Satan and cause problems. But the root of our problems in life is the devil, not people.

Now, in any competitive sport, if we truly want to win, we need a good defense. We can have a great offense, but if our defense is not strong, we won't win many games. Similarly, if we're going to win in life, we need a good defense against Satan's offense.

One of our first lines of defense against offyense is simply to realize that offenses will come. But there also are some key steps we can take to build our defenses and ensure that we're ready when those offenses show up.

One step we can take to defend ourselves against offense is to continually abide in the Word.

Psalm 119:165 says, "Great peace have those who love Your Word, and nothing causes them to stumble." This verse is talking about loving God's Word. When we do that, nothing can make us stumble and fall away from it—nothing!

Verse 105 of the same psalm reads, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." When the Word of God is in our hearts, we can see where we're going so that we won't stumble. Another verse in Psalms says, "With You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light" (Ps. 36:9). As we keep a firm hold on God's Word in our hearts, we'll see where we're going and recognize offense when it comes.

A second step we can take to build a good defense against Satan's offense is to develop the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.

GALATIANS 5:22–23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The last part of this passage says, "Against such [against these fruits of the Spirit] there is no law." In other words, when God in you has control of your life, Satan cannot gain control!

You would have to give up your position for the enemy to get a foothold and make you stumble. When you're walking in the fruit of the Spirit, you're manifesting the fruits of righteousness—the characteristics of God. And you will not be easily swayed when the temptation to be offended comes.

A third step we can take to become good "defensive players" in the game of life is to use wisdom in choosing our teammates. First Corinthians 15:33 says, "Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character.' " Proverbs 13:20

carries the same idea: "Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm." The Bible is clear on this point: the company we keep will influence us for good or for evil.

When I talk about being influenced by people we associate with, I mean taking on certain aspects of their character and even some of their opinions and viewpoints. That's fine if the people we're around love God and base their lives on His Word. But it's not fine if those people are critical of others and are continually offended.

Why? Because over time—little by little—we'll begin thinking the same bitter thoughts. We'll develop an intolerant, critical attitude. And we'll find ourselves becoming offended. Just as the Word says, the "bad company" we keep will corrupt our minds, emotions, and actions. That's why it's so important to choose our teammates wisely.

A fourth step we can take to defend ourselves against offense is to keep our consciences clear. Look at what the Apostle Paul said in the Book of Acts:

ACTS 24:16 Therefore I always exercise and discipline myself [mortifying my body, deadening my carnal affections, bodily appetites, and worldly desires, endeavoring in all respects] to have a clear (unshaken, blameless) conscience, void of offense toward God and toward men.

Paul endeavored to keep his conscience clear before God and people. He diligently kept his mind under the control of his spirit by disciplining himself in spiritual things.

Like Paul, we can develop ourselves to instantly recognize and avoid things that cause us to do the opposite of what God says and grieve the Spirit of God in us. We can get to the place where we hear something such as gossip or slander, and an "alarm" will go off in our spirit warning us not to listen.

As we train ourselves in the Word, we'll become spiritually sensitive. If someone says something we shouldn't listen to, our conscience will know it and caution us. If we start to say something we shouldn't say, that voice will witness to us that we should keep quiet instead. This will help us avoid the trap of offense.

As opportunities to become offended arise over this busy Christmas season, remember to keep your defense strong. James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." When you yield to offense, you are yielding to the devil's influence, and you certainly don't have him on the run. Instead, he has you on the run.

But if you build a good defense, resisting the devil and refusing to become offended, you are yielding to God's influence. And the Bible says that when you do that, you will run the enemy off and stay in Peace-

How To Have A Stress Free Christmas-

Dear friend in Christ;

Stress is something we have to deal with continually. Actually, this time of year there seems to be more stress on people. But God wants to help us with our stress!

Psalm 40:4 says, "Blessed is that person who makes the Lord their trust". You could also read this verse, "Stressed is that person who does not make the Lord their trust." Our Heavenly Father wants us to trust Him. He does not want us to live stressed out! So let's look at a few things that can cause stress in our lives and consider some ways to handle them through God’s promises to us through His Word.

One of the biggest causes of stress for us is change. Most people don't like change, because it means dealing with the unexpected.

Change happens in all of our lives. Hebrews 6:19 tells us we can deal with change if we have Christ our Anchor as the unchanging center of our lives. Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever". Malachi 3:6 says, "I am the Lord, I do not change". Jesus never changes, and with Him as our center of our lives, we will be all right. Knowing He has our lives in His hands, we don’t have to be all stressed out.

Conflict can also bring stress on us. Confrontations are inevitable. They will happen to each of us sooner or later. But we can still remain at peace!

Jesus said in John 14:27, " 'Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid...”. We need to realize that Christ is our peace! We may have conflict all around us, but if we learn to let the peace of God dwell in our hearts, we do not have to be uneasy and worried.

Being criticized is another big cause of stress. When this happens, we can become defensive and start arguing, or we can realize that there's no point in letting it bother us. Why? Because God has already told us that if we will look intently into His Word, it will give us freedom and we'll be blessed (James 1:25).

People criticize me all the time. Really, some of the things they say are horrible. "Doesn't that bother you?" you may ask. "That would upset me." Well, I have to get to a place where I don't pay attention to it. I choose to live in the blessings of God, knowing that I don't answer to them but to my Heavenly Father.

It's not wrong to be concerned. But it is wrong when those concerns consume us, crushes us and cause us stress.

We have to do as it says in 1st. Peter 5:7 "cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us." Look at what Jesus said in Matthew chapter 11:

MATTHEW 11:28–29

28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

There's no use in being upset or having anxiety. It will choke out your Joy!. Cast your care and concern on the Lord and let Him carry it. You may say, "That's a simplistic way of looking at it." That's what God says! And if we want to get out of stress, we've got to do what God says.

Letting your conscience bring past mistakes to your remembrance can be a real problem when it comes to stress. Around the holidays especially, some of our family members, or others, may try to remind us of things or accuse us of things. That's when we need to remind ourselves that Christ is our Righteousness, He is our Judge and declares us Righteous because He has forgiven us by His own Blood.

2nd. Cor. 5:12 For our sake God made Him (Jesus) to become sin for us- who knew no sin, so that in Him we would be the righteousness of God.

Certainly, if we have unresolved guilt we need to go before God and acknowledge His forgiveness and trust and believe Jesus paid the full price for our sin.

Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

But we don't have to feel guilty or live in condemnation about anything we've already asked Him to forgive us for.

First Corinthians 4:4 says, "It is the Lord who judges me." People may try to judge us, but if we're walking with God, we shouldn't let anyone put a guilt trip or condemnation on us and cause us stress.

We are who God made us, and we do ourselves a disservice when we compare ourselves with others. That only brings stress. 2 Corinthians 10:12 tells us it not wise to compare ourselves with others-

You see, if we're not careful we'll begin to compare what we're doing, where we are, and what we're accomplishing with what other people are doing. Eventually, we'll erode our spirituality to the point where we think we're a nobody. And that's exactly what the devil wants.

But God doesn't look at us that way. He only looks to see if we are where He asked us to be, doing what He asked us to do. If we are, we should just enjoy it! We can accomplish more where He puts us than out somewhere else.

Stress is harmful—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. But God doesn't want us to live stressed out! Remember 1 Peter said 5:7 "Cast all your cares on Him." To cast means to Throw it over.

That's why we just can’t  let anything bother us. We don't carry cares or get stressed out about them. Just throw everything over on Him. Refuse to carry stress around. Instead, let the Word work in your life and live in God's peace and blessings.

Like 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth Peace, good will toward all people.

May this Christmas be a stress free Christmas in your life- as you Trust and believe Gods promises He birthed to you this Season through All His Promises- Believe and activate His Promises in Your life-

Happy Thanksgiving from Pastor Joe & Jacquelyn

Dear friend in Christ;

Thanksgiving Day is a special time of reflection on all the blessings we enjoy. Many will come together with family and friends to enjoy food, fellowship, and football. Most people will gather around an abundantly supplied table and fill their plates with all the turkey, dressing, mashed potato’s, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce that their stomachs can contain! Oh; and don’t forget the pumpkin  pie, pecan pie and whipped cream-

However, as delicious as a Thanksgiving table is, even more magnificent is the table God has prepared for you! Psalm 23:5 says that God prepares a table for us in the presence of our enemies. He has a chair at the table with your name on it.

When I was growing up my mother would always say, "If you don't get enough to eat, it's your fault." In other words, the food is here for you to eat. If you don't eat enough, it's on you!

The same rules apply at God's table. Jesus began to prepare the table on the cross when He said, "It is finished." Then through His burial and resurrection, He set the table with everything you need. It contains salvation, forgiveness, restoration, protection, healing, deliverance, prosperity, and many other blessings. If you don't get enough, there's no one to blame but yourself.

Jesus came so you would have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Abundantly means there's plenty. God never runs out of His supply.

At an all-you-can-eat buffet, when a pan gets low on food, they lift it out and put in a full one. There is plenty to go around, and no one has to go home hungry.  It's similar to God's table. It has plenty of everything you need.

So pull out your chair, sit down, pick up your plate, and fill it with whatever you need. Take a big heaping of healing. Take a drink of the Living Water. For dessert, scoop out a big helping of joy. Then rejoice as the devil looks on-because he can't do anything about it!

God's table is ready for you. You don't have to wait until everything in your life is perfect before you can enjoy it.

You can receive from God despite your circumstances. Sit down at the table and get what you need today. And don't worry about stocking up for the future because you can always go back for more!

So, may you sit at the Lords table and have a Happy Thanksgiving-

The Key To Your Everything

Dear Friend in Christ; I was woken by the Holy Spirit this morning to tell you- it’s time to start walking in the Authority that is Yours by delegation, and for you to start using the Name of Jesus to receive what belongs to you!

The Name of Jesus is the key that will set you free.

I have a key that unlocks the door of my car. I may say, “I’m going to unlock the door,” but, really, it wouldn’t be me unlocking it. The key unlocks the door! I am simply using the key!

I may put the key into the ignition and say, “I’m going to start the car.” But the key starts the car. I simply insert the key and turn it. Generally speaking, all the power in a car’s engine and everything in that car hinges on that key.

There’s also a key in the spiritual realm, and without it, we would get nowhere in life. That key unlocks the windows, doors, and storehouses of Heaven. It unlocks power from on High. This “key” is the Name of Jesus! Jesus is the Savior, Redeemer, Mediator, Intercessor, Advocate, High Priest, and Lord Who stands between us and the Father. And He’s given us His Name!

The Scripture has something to say concerning the Name of Jesus as the key. In Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, He obtained the key to our spiri­tual authority. Then He gave us the key. He gave us the authority to do His works in His Name.

When Jesus appeared to John on the isle of Patmos, He said, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the Keys of hell and of death” (Rev. 1:18).

In Revelation 1:18, Jesus was talking about holding the keys of spiritual death (separation from God). In other words, through Him, spiritual death could no longer ever have dominion over those who have received Jesus as Savior and received eternal life.  You who are In Christ are No longer separated from all God has for you!

Do you realize that the one who holds the key has the authority?

We know that Jesus has all power and author­ity in Heaven and earth (Matt. 28:18). But what did Jesus do when He conquered the enemy? He gave you The Key. He delegated authority to you and me. He gave the “key” to us, His Church. What is the key? The key is the Name!

MARK 16:17–18

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; IN MY NAME shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

We have authority in His Name. What are we commanded to do in that Name? Cast out devils, heal the sick, and receive whatever the Word promises us. The power to do these things is in the authority that’s in the Name—the Name that is recog­nized in three worlds (Phil. 2:10; Rev. 5:13).

At the Name of Jesus, angels stand at attention; humanity falls to its knees; and demons tremble like a leaf in the wind. Why do people bow in reverence to the Name of Jesus? Why do angels recognize and reverence that holy Name? Why do demons shudder in fear? Because The Name of Jesus is above every Name, and at that Name, every knee shall bow (Phil. 2:10–11)!

Let’s look at another passage in which Jesus told the disciples “go ye . . .” in the power, or authority, that had been given to Him!

MATTHEW 28:18–20 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH. 19 GO YE THEREFORE, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Some people ignorantly say that healing has been done away with. They say that tongues have already ceased and that the Church doesn’t have any authority. Now let me ask you a question. If that is so, then why should we believe Matthew 28:19, which says, “Go ye therefore”? Why carry a key around in your pocket if that key is useless—if it doesn’t unlock anything?  If I leave town by plane, none of the keys I ordinarily carry are of any use to me. I take them out of my pocket and put them in my briefcase, because it wouldn’t do any good to carry them while I’m in another city. Why should I clutter my pockets with a “useless” set of keys, since there aren’t any keys on my key ring that would unlock anything in the city I’m visiting?

For example, I could fly from Ontario to San Francisco and find a truck identical to the one I own. It could be the same make, model, year, and even the same color. But my truck key will not work on that truck. My key is useless as far as that truck is concerned. So if the Church doesn’t have any spiritual authority today, as some would falsely claim, then those keys that Jesus retrieved and gave to us are useless, and He wasted His time telling us to “go ye therefore” in His Name!

But, No! The Name of Jesus works anytime, any­where! We have the Name of Jesus, and the Name is the key to the Spiritual Authority that we possess in Him.

The Name is unlike any other key you own, so be sure to hold on to The Name of Jesus wherever you go, because that key works anytime, any­where.

The authority in the Name of Jesus hasn’t been done away with.

There is still Salvation; there is Healing; there is Prosperity; there is The Power of the Holy Spirit and Speaking in Tongues. The Name of Jesus still holds All The Power that it ever did.

How do we exercise the authority Jesus gave us in His Name? We have to say something! We have to speak God’s Word. We have to say, “In the Name of Jesus, I have the Victory. In the Name of Jesus, every demon, every sickness, every bit of poverty, every negative voice, every demonic sway or distraction from the joy of the Lord in my life and anything with a name that’s hindering me has to flee, because it is all under the authority of the Name that’s above every name!”

The Church has possession of that Name. I’m talking about the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who are born again by the blood of Jesus—they have that authority. They have the power in Jesus’ Name. He gave it to us. He gave us the key.

It’s time we realize what belongs to us and then march out boldly like Peter and do the works of Jesus. Peter knew what he had in the Name of Jesus. He had the authority to tell a disabled man to “rise and walk.” At the Gate called Beautiful, Peter said to that man, “Such as I have give I you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6)!

Notice that Peter didn’t say, “In the name of Church, rise and walk.” He didn’t say, “In the name of Preacher So-and-so . . . .” Peter said, “In the Name of Jesus, rise and walk”!

God exalted Jesus when He rose from the dead, victorious over death and hell. Now Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father as The One who intercedes for you, far above all other authorities and powers on your behalf. Jesus, in His resurrected body, is seated at the right hand of the Father. Jesus also gave us His Name. His Name with all its power, authority, might, and dominion is ours today.

Let’s start using it to rule and reign over all the works of the enemy!

Financial Blessing & Increase

My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

-Phil. 4:19

There is a law of sowing (planting)and reaping (harvesting) in both the natural and the spiritual realms. And it's a law that works! Yet from my experience, more people fail when it comes to faith for finances than for anything else. The  reason is that they're trying to exercise faith for finances, but they haven't planted any seed! They want God to bless their finances even though they haven't sown anything.

Jesus plainly states, "GIVE,and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give Unto you. For with the same measure that you measure it shall be measured to you again"(Luke 6:38).

The Bible also plainly says, "He which sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully" (2 Cor. 9:6). If you want a bountiful crop, you've got to sow bountifully.

You can't reap a crop without sowing seed. You can't go out into your backyard and say, "I'm going to pick some tomatoes," if the ground hasn't been prepared and the seed sown.

The first step, then, toward getting your financial needs met is to believe and receive God’s Word as it is Written- Taking the promises and activating them by doing what it says to do.

MALACHI 3:1010 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

God said we are to bring our tithes—10 percent of our income—into the storehouse, and in return He will open up the windows of Heaven. "Prove me now on this," He said.

So just go ahead and believe and do what God said to do in the Bible in the area of finances. Pay your tithes and give your offerings. Act on God's Word in faith, and God will bless you because He's Faithful and True to His Word.

Then beyond cooperating with God's laws concerning tithing and giving offerings, be open to receive further light from His Word concerning giving to others. Also, be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, Who will very often direct you specifically to give above your Tithe to build His Kingdom.

Now don't do something just because somebody else did. Don't operate on someone else's experience. Operate on what you know the Bible says, and operate on what the Holy Spirit is saying to You.

You don't have to have any "leading" to pay tithes and give offerings. You don't need to be led to give and sow. The Bible tells you to do those things, so just do them. But when you get out beyond that, it's when you believe the Spirit of God that things happen.

Start where you are. Be faithful to believe Him at His Word by paying your tithes and giving offerings. And be a Believing Believer to the leading of the Holy Spirit when He directs you specifically to give. You can't out-give God. If you sow seeds bountifully in faith and believing His promises, you will reap an abundant harvest of blessings!

Increase Your Faith

In teaching on the subject of faith, it is important to know from the Scriptures that God has not blessed one person with more faith than He has blessed someone else. People often see someone prospering according to the Word, whether in their health, their finances, their family, and so on, and they get the mistaken impression that God must have given that person more faith. So the first thing I want you to know is this: Every believer has been given a measure the same measure of faith.

For by grace are ye saved through Faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

According as God has given every person the measure of faith.  Romans 12:3

So we know that faith comes from God. It is the “gift of God.” But He has given it to every believer. He has given to every believer the measure, or the same measure, of faith.

Notice also that God has done it (Rom. 12:3); it’s not something that He is going to do. We’re not trying to get faith. We’re not praying for it. We have it. Every believer already has a measure of the God-kind of faith.  You see, God gets everyone started off the same way. He doesn’t give one person more faith than He gives another. He gives to every person the measure of faith. Then your faith grows according to what you do with it.

A lot of people have done with their faith what the person in the Bible did with his one talent (see Matthew 25:25). They’ve just wrapped their faith up in a napkin, so to speak, and hid it. They haven’t used it at all.

It’s up to you what you do with the measure of faith God has given you.

The second thing I want you to know is this: This measure of faith can be increased. But you’re the one who increases it, not God. Certainly God furnishes the means whereby faith can be increased. But you increase your faith by doing two things: feeding it on the Word of God and exercising it—or putting it into practice. (Believing)The Bible very often uses natural human terms to teach spiritual thoughts. For example, this is how Jesus taught in His earthly ministry, as we can read in the Gospels.

…Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4

Jesus is using a natural human idea to convey a spiritual thought. He’s saying to us that what bread (or food) is to the body, the Word of God is to the spirit, or the heart, of a person. You know that if you eat food regularly, it will build you up physically. Yet if you eat right but don’t exercise, all you’ll do is get out of shape.  In much the same way, you need to feed your faith on God’s Word. But you also need to exercise your faith, because if you don’t, your faith muscles will be unconditioned. They won’t be able to do much spiritually when it comes to moving mountains in their life.

You can feed your spirit on God’s Word and thereby feed your faith, because God’s Word is faith food. But you also need to exercise your faith to develop it and cause it to grow. In Romans 10:8, Paul called the message he preached the word of faith. He called the Word of God the Word of faith, because the Word will cause faith to come into your heart (Rom. 10:17). God’s Word will build assurance, confidence, and faith in your heart. Then you’re to exercise that faith.

So we know that the measure of faith we’ve received can be increased by doing two things: by feeding it on God’s Word and by putting it into practice (or exercising it) in everyday living. You’re either a believer or a non-believer. But in another sense when people say that, they are implying that every believer has faith in every respect the same as another believer. But that’s not true. One person’s faith may not be the same as another person’s faith. There can be a measurable difference! The Word of God tells us that our faith can grow. (Jude 1:20) Therefore, one person’s faith may not be as developed or as strong as another person’s faith.

Remember, it’s up to you what you do with the measure of faith God has given you. For example, you can cause your faith to grow. You can feed and exercise it so when the storms of life come, you will have strong faith. But another person may not do anything with their faith. The person who does nothing with their faith will have weak faith.  Second Thessalonians 1:3 says, “We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith grows exceedingly. . .” God is saying that faith can grow. Since faith can grow, it can be either strong or weak—developed or undeveloped.

Let’s look at several other statements Jesus made about faith.

If then God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O You of little faith? Luke 12:28

And Peter answered [Jesus] and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O You of little faith, wherefore why did you doubt? Matthew 14:28–31

In these passages of Scripture, Jesus is speaking about little, or small, faith. In Matthew 14:31, Jesus asked Peter, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”  In Matthew chapter 8, Jesus commended the faith of the centurion who came to Him on behalf of his servant. Jesus said the centurion had great faith.

5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, 6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. 7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.… 10 When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel…. 13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. Matthew 8:5–8,10,13

Jesus said to the disciples about the centurion, “…I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel” (v. 10). So in these passages we’ve read, Jesus told one man that he had great faith and told another man that he had little faith. Romans 4:19 speaks of weak faith.

And being not Being weak in faith, he [Abraham] considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb. Romans 4:19

The very next verse speaks of strong faith.

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was Strong in Faith, giving glory to God. Romans 4:20

From these verses, we can conclude that faith can either be weak or strong. I am proving to you through Scripture that faith is measurable—that it can grow. We already mentioned that the Bible talks about growing faith (2 Thessalonians 1:3). Acts 6:5 says Stephen was full of faith. James 2:5 mentions rich faith. James 2:22 speaks of a perfect faith. First Timothy 1:5 speaks of unfeigned faith, or faith that is genuine and sincere. First Timothy 1:19 speaks of shipwrecked faith and of holding on to faith and to a good conscience. And First John 5:4 speaks of overcoming faith.

The Bible says, “In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established” (Matt. 18:16). I just gave you more than 10 witnesses! And all of these verses will prove to you that faith is measurable.

We know that the measure of faith given to every believer can grow. Your faith can be strengthened by feeding it on the Word of God and by exercising it or putting it into practice.  If you only ate one meal a week you would weak to the point of starvation. But the same is true spiritually. God’s Word is faith food, and if we want our faith to grow, we must feed it more than once a week!

If you want your faith to grow, you have to start where you are. No one climbs a ladder starting on the top step. You’ve got to start on the bottom rung and climb up if you’re going to reach the top. That’s the thing that defeats a lot of well-meaning Christians—they try to believe beyond their faith.

Remember, just because someone has fed more on God’s Word and has exercised their faith is not a sign that God have them more faith than He gave someone else. No, the person who fed on the Word and exercised their faith had the same measure of faith to begin with as the others had. But they fed their faith and exercised it, and their faith grew strong! As a result they could believe God for more.

So keep a positive attitude about your own faith. Recognize that you have faith and that you can cause it to grow. Feed your faith and exercise it right where you are in your Christian walk. Then your faith can grow and move mountains!

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
