Live from a place of peace, not a place of Fear.

IMG_5598.JPG

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:7

Too many times, we let the fear and restlessness of the unknown hold us back. If you’re going to reach your highest potential, you have to have this boldness to step into the unknown with power and faith- Believing God is Faithful to His Word. You have been made righteous by the Blood of Christ-

The steps of the Righteous are directed and established by the Lord, And He delights in his way and blesses his path. Ps. 37:23

You don’t have to struggle for favor. Just release it by speaking forth God’s Word in faith. On your way to work, say, “God’s favor surrounds me as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12)

As you continue to speak God’s favor over your life out of a revelation of Jesus’ finished work, you will see more of His Power being released in You-

Offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the Fruit of our lips, Giving Thanks to His Name...

IMG_5560.JPG

Hebrews 13:15

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the Fruit of our lips, Giving Thanks to His Name.

Lifting up your hands and thanking God is spontaneous when you’ve just received a wonderful blessing-

But there are times when you don’t feel like lifting up your hands to thank and praise God, yet we are called to do it.

Maybe you have felt discouraged lately. Perhaps it looks as though everything is going wrong for you and you feel like your life is a mess.

First of all let me remind you That God is with you!

Secondly, the best thing you can do is make a conscious decision to lift your hands and thank God for being with you in whatever situation you might be faced with-

Release begins when you open your mouth and begin to praise Him- even though you really don’t feel like doing it.

In the midst of any situation you are going through, praise Him that He is your righteousness! In spite of all the mistakes you have ever made. Thank Him that He is your Prince of Peace, and that His peace will arise in you and still the storms in your life.

God is blessed and appreciates such times when, despite feeling discouraged, you offer a Freewill Thanksgiving Offering to Him.

When you choose to thank God for His unfailing love, His faithfulness to deliver, His Power to protect and provide; even when you don’t see the blessings yet, before long you will find yourself experiencing and enjoying the blessings!

So lift your hands and praise the Lord, for He is good, and His mercy endures forever!

(Psalm 106:1)

love in His Grace, Pastor Joe Saboick

Quit dwelling on everything wrong with you and start dwelling on what’s right with you.

It’s easy to focus on the negative, what’s wrong, what’s not measuring up to a standard you have set in your mind. That’s where many get stuck! Being a New Creation is also being in a New Outlook- Seeing that God has made all things new & beautiful concerning you and your life! Start Thinking about All the things that are right!

IMG_5538.JPG

It starts with making a New Creation Choice- Our New Mindset is;

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Stop looking at all the negative things that may be surrounding you, and start confessing that nothing is impossible with God.

love in His Grace, Pastor Joe

Remember that God is still in control-

In the dark times, when life feels unfair, we have to remember that God is still in control and We have the Power to remain in Victory.

IMG_5518.JPG

In Matthew 24:12, Jesus said this: “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” He said this would be a characteristic of the end times. Jesus was saying that the negative things going on around us—not necessarily in us—would cause the love of many to grow cold.

The word “waxed” used in that scripture is really significant. It goes back to the way candles are made. A wick is dipped into hot wax and then taken out and allowed to cool for a few seconds, leaving a thin layer of wax. The process is repeated hundreds of times until the wick is buried deep within the wax.

The same is true with the heart. If we take our eyes off Jesus and focus on the evil of this world and our circumstances, then, little by little, the layers of negativity harden around our hearts, and the love for God and others waxes cold.

So, how do we stay positive in a negative world? Joshua 1:9 Says; Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Here, the Lord was speaking to Joshua, who was taking over for Moses—a hard act to follow. He told Joshua to be strong and of good courage and not to be afraid or dismayed. These are opposing forces. If you are afraid and dismayed, then you are not strong and of good courage. They counteract each other. So, you have to do two things and resist two things.

The Lord doesn’t automatically do these things for you—He flows through you. If you get discouraged or dismayed, You stop the process.

It says in Ephesians 3:20,

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

The phrase “according to” means in proportion to or to the degree of the power that is working in you. God flows through His people. If you become discouraged, you stop the flow of God’s power.  God has called you to encourage yourself in the Power of The Holy Spirit that Dwells In You. Believe God at His word and be powerful and encouraged in your New Creation.

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe Sabolick

Don’t give fear a name, don’t let it rule your life. Be Strong and of Good courage

IMG_5513.JPG

The Enemy of Faith

Fear is an enemy of faith. It will stop the power of God from working in our lives. Faith is having an unquestioning belief in God. Fear, on the other hand, makes us question and ask things such as, “Will I make it?” Faith doesn’t question. It has complete confidence and trust in God.

Second Timothy 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Fear is not from God; it’s from the devil. And fear is one of the biggest hindrances to people receiving their healing. They may start out in faith, but when fear grabs hold of their hearts, their faith begins to sputter.

The devil often tries to put thoughts in our minds when we’re alone. It’s easy to become fearful when nobody is around to pray with us or encourage us. James told us that when we resist the devil, he will flee from us (James 4:7). One way to resist him is by not allowing ourselves to think about things that are contrary to the Word of God. Or as Second Corinthians 10:5 says, “casting down” these types of thoughts.

When fear tries to come on us, we simply have to say, “Satan, you have no right or authority to put a spirit of fear on me. I command fear to leave now, in the Name of Jesus.”

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe

You can’t go forward if you’re always looking back.

...but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:13–14

IMG_5504.JPG

You can’t go forward if you’re always looking back.

Shake off low expectations, shake off what somebody told you that you can’t do. They don’t determine your destiny, God does.

No matter what has happened in the past, learn from your mistakes of course But look to Christ as your success, wisdom, comfort and strength, and see Him doing a new thing in your life by His unmerited favor.

See Him giving you stronger and blessed relationships through His wisdom and grace. See Him giving you a better job with better benefits. See Him restoring your health sevenfold. Consider not “the things of old,” but consider or meditate on His better promises (Hebrews 8:6). That’s how you move forward into His good success! Believe and receive His Promises!

Go Forward IN Faith Believing in Jesus Name-

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe Sabolick-

PS See you every Thursday 7PM & Sunday’s 10AM

Don’t be afraid of the enemy; he’s afraid of you.

The Scripture says, “Greater is He that’s in you than he that comes against you.” 1 Jn.4:4

IMG_5386.JPG

Don’t be afraid of the enemy; he’s afraid of you.

We need to believe that Satan has already been completely destroyed (Heb. 2:14) and simply enforce his defeat. The only power he has is the power to deceive. Our battle should be against the wiles (trickery) of the devil (Eph. 6:11), not the devil himself. Any other approach is actually giving the devil authority and power which he doesn’t have, and he uses that to intimidate us. The only weapon Satan has is the power we give him when we believe his lies.

Warfare only takes place between two undefeated foes. Once an enemy has been conquered, the war is over. Satan is a defeated foe.

Colossians 2:15 says, “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” The archaic meaning of the word “spoiled” here is “to plunder; despoil” (American Heritage Dictionary). This means that after Jesus defeated Satan, He stripped him of everything he had, specifically the keys of death and hell (Rev. 1:18).

Stand in The Power & Might of The Lord Jesus!! His Victory is Your Victory-

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe Sabolick-

God not only forgives, He restores.

God not only forgives, He restores. He makes you whole. He puts you back on the path toward your purpose.

IMG_5327.JPG

As a believer, you have a right to expect restoration of the things that the enemy has stolen from you.

It may be your health, your finances or your possessions but payback time is definitely coming!

Acts 3:20–21 tells us that before Jesus comes back for His church, we will experience “the times of restoration of all things”. What a hope that gives us, knowing that God will restore to us all things before Jesus returns!

If the devil is attacking you in any area, speak to your Heavenly Father, “Father, I will not allow the devil to rob me of my health, children or finances. These blessings are blood-bought and paid for by Your Son!” Claim your restoration in Christ and He will hear you.

When God restores, even under the old covenant, His people always received much more than what they had originally lost, in terms of quality and or quantity. How much more will our restoration be under the new covenant because of the shed blood of the Lamb of God!

Let the Redeemed of the Lird say so- Ps. 107:2

Say What God says about You today- "I'm Restored, Redeemed, Righteous, Renewed, Rewarded..."

Claim what is yours Child of The Most High God!

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe Sabolick-

Put your hope in the Lord.

Don’t put your hope in your circumstances or in people; they may let you down. Put your hope in the Lord.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."Deut.31:6

...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (Heb 13:5) Be mindful of the presence of God with you today, He is in you, He is for you & He loves you!

Why were you searching for me?

Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house? (Luke 2:49)

Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? (Luke 5:22)

Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? (Luke 5:23)

Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? (Luke 6:46)

Where is your faith? (Luke 8:25)

What is your name? (Luke 8:30)

My Peace I Give To You~

He has mercy for every mistake, grace for every weakness, faith for every fear & Peace for every storm-

IMG_5161.JPG

Jesus was and is always in perfect control. And one of the reasons He was so powerful was that He walked in the shalom (peace) of God.

Jesus said; "My Peace I give to You..."

The word “peace” in John 14:27 is the word “shalom” in Hebrew. It means wellness, wholeness, completeness, as well as peace of heart and mind.

Having shalom means having every part of your spirit, soul and body well.

So what did Jesus mean when He said, “Shalom I leave with you. Not the world’s shalom, but My shalom”?

This is what He meant~ “The shalom you saw Me living in; the shalom you saw Me sleep in, in that boat; the shalom you saw Me walk in, in the midst of the people who wanted to stone Me; the shalom that renders the devil powerless to touch Me; this shalom, My shalom, I give to you.”

This is the peace that Jesus has given to us. It is not a worldly peace that comes through soothing music, meditation or deep breathing. It is more effective than that! It is not dependent on circumstances and it works in the midst of the storms of life.

Let the Peace of God flow in and through you- Col.3:15

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.

2 Cor. 1:20

Christians for the most part believe God can do anything, and many believe that He has made promises to heal, deliver, bless, and prosper His children. But some of these same believers find themselves unable to believe the Word with what they experience. As a result live in frustration wondering why God's promises don't seem to be working for them. But you know what? Healing, deliverance, prosperity and blessings are already ours!
