The devil has no authority—no legal right—to dominate you as a born again Child of God. Each and every member of the Body of Christ has a perfect right to experience all the blessings of redemption, including healing and deliverance from any Satanic oppression. The Name of Jesus is the key—what do you do with the Name of Jesus?

The Scripture says in the Gospel of Luke, “After Satan tempted Jesus, he left Him for a season” (Luke 4:13).

Notice it didn’t say, “Satan left Him and never came back.” It said, “He left Him for a season.” Yet later on, it said that Jesus “. . . was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin” (Heb. 4:15).

That’s the reason we have in Jesus such a faithful and compassionate High Priest to help us (see vv. 15–16). He understands what we’re going through. And we have a right to use His Name when we experience adversity!

So if pain comes, if sickness or disease comes, instead of accepting it and telling somebody, “I have this, that, and the other thing,” you say, “In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, leave my body.” And the pain or the sickness or disease must go.

I said it must go, because you are the master of your body, not me or anybody else. I am the caretaker of my own body.

Your born again spirit indwells the Holy Spirit that lives in you, your body. Your regenerated Soul will live forever because Christ dwells in you.

And you by the Power of the Holy Spirit are to rule your body.

But that’s where some get into trouble; they don’t rule their bodies.

The Apostle Paul said about himself (and he admonished believers to do the same), “. . . .I keep my body under, and bring it into subjection . . .” (1 Cor. 9:27). In other words, Paul was saying, “I rule my body.”

A failure to rule the body produces (carnal, the old nature) in us. One translations calls them “body–ruled” Christians. In other words, their bodies rule them.

Some don’t get this because either a failure to know God’s Word or just would rather live in the old nature and not the new. You are called to rule your body. Paul said, “I keep under my body. I bring it into subjection.” Paul was talking about his spirit, the real man, or the inner or hidden man (1 Peter 3:4).

Somebody said, “Yeah, but that was Paul. He was an apostle, so he could do that.”

Now isn’t that illogical reasoning? Just because Paul was called to the office of the apostle didn’t make him any more a Christian than you or me or anyone else.

Paul wasn’t any more saved than any member of the Body of Christ.

The office Paul stood in didn’t give him any more authority to rule his body than you have authority to rule your body. And it didn’t give him any more power to do it, either.

I will further prove to you from the Bible that all Christians, not just a select few, can rule their bodies.

ROMANS 12:11  I [Paul] beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Now, Paul wrote the letter, of Romans to believers. He addresses the letter, “To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called saints . . .” (Rom. 1:7). Well, “saints” still applies to people everywhere who are born again—“to all that be born again in” the Inland Empire, the United States of America, or wherever you’re from!

Well, what did Paul say that saints should do with their bodies? He said, “I request you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that You present your bodies . . .” (Rom. 12:1). So you see, you are to do something with your own body. This verse proves that you can do it.

You are the overseer of your body. If you weren’t, you couldn’t present it to God. You wouldn’t be able to do anything with it. But you are the master, the ruler, of your body. And thank God, you have a right to freedom pain and sickness and disease in the Name of Jesus!

You can command those things to leave your body in that Name, and they must go. But notice who has to do the commanding—you do!

Sometimes you—the real you, your spirit being—just have to assert yourself. And you must take advantage of your rights and privileges in Christ, including your right to use His Name.

We have a pretty plant my wife planted by the front door of the church. It has such beautiful one with purple flowers. But, a lot of the kids at church would step on the plant and also pick the flowers until the plant was nearly destroyed. Something had to be done- a fence was placed in front of the area with a sign posted; “Please keep out of the planters”.

As the overseer of the church grounds for the flowers to remain in perfect form a fence and sign had to be put up!  A guard!  In the same way I—the man on the inside—am the overseer of this building of mine, my body. You also are the overseer or caretaker of your body.

You and I must simply put up a sign and a fence around our body in the spirit realm. Keep away from my body, soul and spirit!  “Devil, this means you! Don’t you trespass on God’s property!”

Second Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation or creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” That new creature is the man on the inside, the Spirit man. And you, as that new creature are the caretaker of your body, the overseer of your house.

You are the caretaker of your body, but, really, your body doesn’t belong to you; it belongs to God.

1 CORINTHIANS 6:19–20

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own [well, whose are you if you’re not your own]?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

As a new creature in Christ, you and the Father are one. As I’ve said many times, concerning John 14:13–14, when you use the Name of Jesus to exercise spiritual authority, you’re not demanding anything of God the Father. You and the Father are one, and He has given you authority in that Name over demonic forces.

Directly or indirectly, sickness and disease come from the devil; they don’t come from God. So when you command sickness and disease to leave your body in Jesus’ Name, you’re just taking your place and demanding your rights. You’re exercising the authority that God gave you and commissioned you to exercise. And you’re acting scripturally as the caretaker of your own body.

Cast It Down!

IMG_0656.JPG

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;  Casting down imaginations [reasonings], and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

When you’re believing God for healing, provision, or strength; “reason” will tell you that it can’t happen – that you can’t be healed, your breakthrough will never happen, you’ll always be in lack and powerless. But you have to cast down reasonings. I didn’t say it was easy but it is a must!

Now what does Paul mean when he says, “Casting down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God”? He’s talking about any kind of knowledge that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and His Word. He’s talking about human knowledge here.

Some people call it “sense knowledge.” If it’s in opposition to what God’s Word reveals, then cast it down, or throw it away!

Paul also tells us to bring every thought into captivity. Some people have said to me, “I’m bothered with all these thoughts. Will you pray and cast that out of me?” I’m not going to do that. The Bible doesn’t say to do that. It says for you to bring every thought into captivity. The Bible doesn’t tell you to do something you can’t do.

Christ is the Word. John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Then in John 1:14, we read, “The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.”

Christ is called the Word of God. Second Corinthians 10:5 states: “Bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience (Believing By Faith) of the Word of God.”

Pray this prayer out loud- I bring every thought captive to the obedience of faith in the Word of God. I am a believer, not a doubter. I do have faith. My faith is in God’s Holy Word. My faith is in God, the Father, and in the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name, Amen!

From The Words Of Jesus Series-

Notes on the Words of Jesus starting in

John 4:27…

IMG_6147.JPG

Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance,"

Read John 4:27-38, Mathew 9:37

Notice that He said in Verse 32 I have food that you do not know of~

His Food was to do the will of the Father and finish His Work…

Reflect on John 4:35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and thencomes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

Take note that Jesus said the Harvest is Plentiful- and past ready to harvest…

In Matt. 9:36-38

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them…

Then He [Jesus] said to his disciples, The harvest is plentiful but the labors are few~

Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

The word used for compassion is the strongest word for pity in the Greek language describing the love that moves a person to the depths of their being.

We are commissioned to go out and do the work of an evangelist!

It’s The Great Commission not the Great Suggestion~

Read~Mark 16:15 Mat. 28:19 Luke 14:23 and Luke 10:19

You cannot make disciples without fishing for them!

We are called to be fishers of men not keepers of the Aquarium.

Read Mat. 4:19

2 Tim. 4:5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist…

Proverbs 11:25A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

In Matt. 9:36 Jesus described the crowd as being "harassed, weary, confused and helplesslike sheep without a shepherd"

They were wandering aimlessly without hope, meaning or a purpose for living.

Read Jer. 29:11

The old preacher Vance Havner used to say, "The tragedy of our time is that the situation is desperate but the saints are not."

Is. 51:16 And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens,

1 Cor. 3:6 Some plant some water but God gives the increase~

Do not fear about telling others about God’s Love.  You can by the Power of the Holy Spirit God has given you~

Phil.4:13, Luke 18:27, 1 Tim. 1:4

I Can-

IMG_0614.JPG

As born again believers, we must all come to realize that God has given us the ability to be more than Conquerors in life.

We can reign over all things.

There is nothing to difficult for us.

When we look to God our possibilities in life are without limitation.

Luke 18:27But He said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."

Philippians 4:13I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Another translation says, "I am ready for anything through the strength of Him who makes me strong".

There is nothing I cannot master with the help of the One who gives me strength.

1 Timothy 1:12I thank him who has made me equal to the task, Christ Jesus our lord...

Here's the task-

The equal sign is the total of all the equations!

Romans 8:37Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

So that makes me settle the opposition-

In this message I want to give you ten things that God says you can do through His strength.

II.Ten Components of Your Victory is this!

1.I Can Believe.

The first and most important aspect is our belief in what Jesus has said concerning our positions with Him and what He can do through us.  We must believe.

Hebrews 11:6But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Mark 9:23-24Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!"

• Do you believe that God has made you equal to any task that He gives you?

• Do you believe that God will take your impossibilities and turn them into possibilities?

• Do you believe that you are more than a conqueror through Him?

Ephesians 1:19-20...and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.

You can Be a Believing Believer:

2.I Can Change.

Our life in Christ consists of a ourselves to His transforming grace.

You can change the things around you!

2 Corinthians But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.3:18

Glory to Glory-

This means putting on the new person of Who you are NOW!

Not what you used to be!

Ephesians...that you put off, concerning your former actions, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,  4:22-24{24} and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in righteousness and true holiness.

3. I Can Be Loved By God and Love Others.

Being able to fully receive His love into our lives.

This is what gives us the freedom and the liberty to grow and mature and be blessing to others.

Romans 5:5Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

1 JohnBy this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 3:16

4.I Can Forgive And Be Forgiven.

1 John 1:9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Ephesians 4:32And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.

Luke 17:3-4"Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. "And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him."

5.I Can Take control of Thought Life.

I don't have to walk in doubt!

I walk in the power of the Gospel!!

Good news:

Having a what I am attitude:

2 Corinthians For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the authority of Christ.  10:3-5

Oh but the devil keeps hitting me...

Hit back:

Hit back with the Word...

I'm the righteousness of Christ:

I shall live not die... Ps. 118:17

Philippians 4:7-8...and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy; meditate on these things.  (fix your minds -

6.I Can Make A Difference.

We have been sent into this world to be salt:

We have been given to this generation to serve the purpose of God.

Esther 4"For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?":14

Philippians among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain. 2:15...

7.I Can Accomplish Great Things.

John 14:12"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

8.I Can Stand In The Midst Of Adverse Circumstances.

Ephesians For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness.6:12-14

9.I Can Defeat The Enemy.

1 John 4:4You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Luke "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.10:19

10.I Can Be A Finisher.

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

let's remember that God's desire towards us is that we all become great for Christ.

Phil.1:6 Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Discouraged?

IMG_0592.JPG

Why are you cast down and discouraged, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God. Psalm 43:5

We all have times when we wake up in the morning and feel discouraged; we don’t feel excited about where we are and where it seems where we’re going-

But just because we feel those emotions doesn’t mean we have to stay there and give in to them; we can shake it off and move forward in faith relying on God’s strength, power and promise.

A great example of someone in the Bible who had a lot of experience in shaking off negative emotions is David. He had to fight discouragement, and he was the King of Israel. He had all kinds of opportunity, power and position. He was wealthy, and yet, he still struggled with being depressed and discouraged. That tells me that having to choose to rule over negative feelings is something every person has to deal with.

Don’t think you’re alone if you feel this way.

Turn to God and His hope. Don’t think, “If I just had more money, if I had a better job, if I had a more prominent place at my church, Then I wouldn’t have to deal with these feelings.”

No, you may think that, but every person has to fight the temptation to just give in and live by how we feel.

David had to talk to himself. He said, “Why are you cast down, oh, my soul? Hope in the Lord.” (Psalm 42). He was actually saying, “David, what are you doing in this bad state of a bad mood? Stop looking at your situation and start looking at Your God.” That tells me that your true joy is found only in God, when you take your eyes off of how you “feel” and your “circumstances” and place them on God and His Word.

Sometimes the best thing we can do is talk to ourselves and speak scripture over our lives.

Have you actually really tried that? Are you doing that? Or are you just staying in a discouraged thought pattern of defeat?

When you’re tempted to be in a bad mood, feel discouraged go look in the mirror and say, “Listen here, self. You need to cheer up. Get your joy back, get your peace back. I’m not going to live this day defeated.”

You have to stay on the offensive. Don’t wait until you’ve been down for three days, three weeks, three years before you decide to do something about it.

The moment you feel that discouragement trying to come on you, rise up and say, “No, I’m not going there.” When you wake up in the morning and feel depressed, you say, “No!, that’s not for me. This is going to be a good day. It’s the day the Lord has made.” “ I am going to believe my God and not go there; I am going to rise above that low feeling and Know God is with me and I’m going to choose to praise Him.”

Decide not to live by how you feel.

Go deeper than that!!!

Start living by what you know.

You know God is in control. You know He’s got a great plan for your life.

You know His power is greater than any other power. When you wake up and those old negative, discouraging thoughts and feelings come, shake them off.

Be done with that roller coaster living.

Don’t give into your emotions and let them keep you from God’s blessings and promotion.

Start choosing to live each day in God’s peace.

Decide that you’re going to have a great day. By doing this, you will see God work in your life in greater ways because your eyes are fixed toward Him instead of your situation, and you’ll live the life of victory He has in store for you!

Listen to what God says, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10). Fight discouragement with His promised presence. Take Him at His Word and let His right hand uphold you and bring you through to victory!

Spiritual Warfare

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

IMG_0573.JPG

I have some Good News for you today-

God does not need your help to defeat the devil.

Jesus has already did it and given you the victory Colossians 2:15 says; “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

Romans 8:37 states; “all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”.

Your part is to cooperate in the victory by simply standing your ground, which is victory ground. As I have said for years you’re  “fighting” from victory not fighting for victory. You’re standing your ground on the Rock of Jesus Christ.

In Ephesians 6:10–18, the passage on spiritual warfare, the word “wrestle” appears only once (verse 12), while the word “stand” appears four times—“stand against the wiles of the devil,” “withstand in the evil day,” “having done all, to stand,” “Stand therefore” (verses 11, 13–14). Four times the Holy Spirit tells us to stand. Yet, many  believers are focusing on wrestling their way to victory! Standing is your place of security.

You are already on victory ground. You already have everything in Christ  (1 Corinthians 3:21, 23).

You are already blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). The enemy knows this. And that is why his tactic is to “deceive” you and make you think that you don’t have the victory.

So when he attacks you by saying, “Look at your lack! How are you going to pay the bills?” stand your ground. Declare, “I am already blessed in Christ!” It doesn’t matter how much you have in the bank. You are richly supplied because you are in Christ. And as the need arises, the supply will be there and that is His promise. (Phil.4:19)

It is the same with you healing. The enemy will try to attack you with symptoms in your body. He will try to put pain in your body, and make you feel weak here and there, so that you think that you can not be well. He is trying to make you believe that you don’t have your healing. That is the time to be conscious of Jesus’ finished work and declare, “I am not trying to get healed, I am healed! I am standing on the victory ground which Jesus has given me!” By His Stripes I Am Healed! See-

It makes a world of difference when you fight from victory and not for victory!

Today The Victory is Yours- Embrace it, Believe it and thank God for it!

Think about this;

Moses & Noah were Water proof! Joseph was Pit proof,

David was Giant Proof Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego were Fireproof, Daniel was Lion proof,

Jesus was Death proof -

You Are- Living Proof- The Victory Is Yours!

Pentecost Sunday

Why we Celebrate Pentecost Sunday at New Creation Church-

IMG_6532.JPG

In 2 Corinthians 3:6 the Scripture says; …for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life...”

To the Jews, the feast of Pentecost is a celebration of the giving of God’s law. It takes place 50 days after the Passover feast. When God gave the Israelites the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai, it was 50 days after they had celebrated their first Passover and come out of slavery in Egypt.

But what happened after God gave them the law on the first Pentecost? Three thousand people died! (Exodus 32:28) Contrast this with another Pentecost in the New Testament when Christ birth His Church In the book of Acts, it says that when Pentecost had fully come, God gave not the law but the Holy Spirit, and what happened? Three thousand people were saved (Acts 2:41), which goes to show that “the letter [the law] kills, but the Spirit gives life!”

The law, which was “written and engraved on stones”, ministered death. It killed 3,000 people. That is why the apostle Paul calls it “the ministry of death” and “the ministry of condemnation”. (2 Corinthians 3:7–9) On the other hand, the Spirit ministered life—3,000 people were saved.

When you come under the law by trying to keep God’s commandments in order to be blessed, it will lead to death. There will be deadness in your life, ministry, health and career. But when you depend on the Spirit of Grace, it will lead to life. You will see breakthroughs and miracles (Galatians 3:5), and manifestation the fruit of the Spirit.

So, if you want to be blessed, make sure that you are on the right mountain. You see, the law was given on Mount Sinai, but the Spirit was given on Mount Zion. That is why the Bible says that “you have not come to the mountain [Sinai] that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest…But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels”. (Hebrews 12:18, 22) The Lord blesses you out of Zion (Psalm 128:5), and not Sinai!

By grace you have been saved through faith. (Ephesians 2:8) Now, continue in the Spirit of Grace. Remain on the right mountain as God continues to supply all the miracles in your life through Jesus’ sacrifice for you. He paid it All! Come boldly to the Throne of Grace and receive The Life Giving Power Of The Holy Spirit!

See You Sunday- Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe

The Cross

IMG_6320.JPG

When the Apostle Paul went to the great and intellectual Grecian city of Corinth, he said, “I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2). When Paul described what his message was, he said, “We preach Christ crucified” (1 Corinthians 1:23).

To the people of Corinth the preaching of the cross was foolishness and nonsense.

But Paul said, “The foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men” (1 Corinthians 1:25). In that great intellectual center, the Cross of Christ was a stumbling block to the Jew, and to the Gentiles it was foolishness.

This “Gospel” of Christ and Him crucified is still foolishness to millions who are perishing all over the world today. Few people recognize that the answer to all the world’s problems can be found at the foot of the Cross.

As we stand at the cross today and look at a confused and frustrated world, God still asks the question, “Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who Believe” (1 Corinthians 1:20-21,)

“We preach Christ crucified.” This is the focal point of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a picture of blood flowing from Christ’s veins as He hung on the cross. The message of shed blood is gross to many, and they turn from such a gory and horrible sight, feeling offended and even outraged. Many people will accept Christ’s teaching and character , but they reject His crucifixion.

The people of Corinth were blind to Christ crucified and what it meant. To them, His death in this manner was foolishness. The Greek word here is moria, which literally means “idiocy.” Out of this Greek word comes the word moron. This is how the Corinthians evaluated the crucifixion of Christ.

The idea of a world being saved by Christ crucified was indeed foolishness to those who were proud and boastful and who thought the wisdom of the world was invented by them.  How different it is for those of us who, in simple faith, know Christ crucified. For us, the cross is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

There are many deeply religious but have not yet come to the point where they are willing to accept Christ and Him crucified. Thus, they stumble on blindly toward eventual judgment and destruction, not realizing that they are rejecting Christ and Him crucified, which is the only hope for salvation.

When we look at the cross, we see several things:

First, in the cross we see the clearest evidence of the world’s guilt. At the cross of Christ, sin reached its maximum. Its most terrible display took place at Calvary. It was never so wicked!  We see the human heart laid bare and its corruption fully exposed. The Scripture teaches that person’s heart is desperately wicked.

Christ does come to us every day–in the form of Bibles that we do not read, in the form of churches that we do not attend, in the form of human need that we pass by.

In the judgment hall of Pilate the cry was heard, “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!” The people had seen His miracles. They had heard His words of Love! They had seen how He relieved suffering humanity.

Why this murderous spirit?

The answer is found deep in the human heart. Human nature has not changed, and as we stand and look at the cross, we see clear evidence that humankind is basically wrong, and we hear the thunderous verdict of God Himself when He says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

Second, in the cross we see the strongest proof of God’s hatred of what sin does. God has stated that the soul that sins shall die (Ezekiel 18:20) and that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

To gain a clear understanding of God’s attitude toward sin, we only have to consider the purpose of Christ’s death. The Scripture says, “Without shedding of blood there is no remission” (Hebrews 9:22). Here is a positive statement that there can be no forgiveness of sin unless our debt has been paid.

God will not tolerate sin. He condemns it and demands payment for it. God could not remain a righteous God and compromise with sin. His holiness and His justice demand the death penalty.

The tendency today is to feel that such a position on God’s part is too severe. So we find ourselves manufacturing another gospel. We may say that sin is not that bad–but God said it is very bad. So bad that He demands the death penalty. When we look at the cross we see how drastically God deals with sin. The Scripture says, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us” (2 Corinthians 5:21). If God had to send His only Son to the cross in order to pay for sin, then sin must be so dark in the sight of God.

Third, in the cross we see a glorious exhibition of God’s love. We look out upon the world of nature, and in the provisions and plans made for our happiness we discover a revelation of God’s love. Yet as wonderful as these things are in revealing divine love, nothing is comparable to the sacrifice of Calvary. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Paul writes to the Roman Christians, “For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:6-8).

Fourth, in the cross we see the way to Victory. All of us have at times been defeated by Satan. We are held in bondage to sin and are controlled by the power of the devil. The cross is the instrument by which God delivers us from the penalty of our sin and from the hand of Satan.

God makes it plain that our old carnal nature was dealt with at the cross, so that in our standing in Christ this old nature has no more power over us. We are told that our “old man was crucified with Him” (Romans 6:6) and that we do not need to serve sin any longer. The Scripture promises that sin shall no longer have dominion over us (Romans 6:14). Because of Jesus’ sacrifice on The Cross-

Thousands of Christians wrestle with temptation and sin because they don’t know the Power Of The Cross. Satan uses jealousy, pride, gossip, gluttony, sex and old appetites to control them. However, in the cross you have power over all those things because Christ overcame those temptations and sins.

God cleansed you 100% at the cross and made you a New Creation- We can say with Paul, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). You have been delivered once and for all!

The cross of Christ is not only the basis of our peace and hope–but it is the means of our eternal salvation, Righteousness and healing was accomplished. The goal of the cross is not only a full and free pardon, but a changed life lived in fellowship with God. No wonder Paul said 2,000 years ago, “We preach Christ crucified.” The world needs this message today. This is the message of hope, peace and acceptance with Our God. The world calls it “foolishness” but we who have been saved it IS The Power and Wisdom Of God.

What are you doing with the Cross of Christ? Is the Cross foolishness to you or is it The Wisdom and the Power Of God? Have you received God’s gift of Salvation through the Cross of Christ by believing in Him?

You can by simply asking-

Pray this Prayer- “Lord God I believe and receive what Jesus accomplished for me at the Cross; in Jesus Name Amen-

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe-

See You At 12:00 Noon New Creation Church!

But Seek Ye First...

IMG_6235.JPG

...But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.  Matt:6:33

What does God have to say to us about our life concerns? According to Matthew 6:31, The Lord Jesus tells us, “Do not worry.” He is not saying that we don’t need all the necessary things of life (food, clothes, ect.); because in the same portion of scripture He says, “For your heavenly Father knows that you need All these things.” (Matthew 6:32)

God cares about us having these things. He wants us to have all these things. In fact, He wants all these things added to us. And He tells us that the way these things are added to us is by us seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Therefore, our number one priority every day is to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. It is not to seek to add these things to ourselves.

What is righteousness? Righteousness is not right behavior. It is right standing with the Father. It is the clearance of all your guilt, which makes you able to stand before God. It is not something you get through right behavior. It is a gift from God. Paul calls it “the gift of righteousness”. (Romans 5:17) And to “seek” this gift is to be conscious of the fact that you have it, to confess that you are righteous in Christ.

So this righteousness we are told to seek is not right behavior, but right standing before God, which comes to us as a gift when we receive salvation.

At the cross, Jesus didn’t just remove our sins, He also gave us His righteousness so that today, we can come boldly before the throne of God and receive freely everything that He died to give us!

Today, if you want the good things in life, be assured that your Heavenly Father knows that you need these things. Just seek His righteousness, not your own righteousness, and “all these things shall be added to you”!

He’ll take care of all the divine setups- all the background work to bring you the provision you need and desire.  So, Believe His Promises as you put Him first and go forward in what God has called you to do in your life and in His Kingdom.

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe

How’s Your Sleep 😴

IMG_6007.JPG

Psalm 127:2 Says; It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep.

Do you have trouble sleeping at night? Or you’ve said, “I was up the whole night!!!” I couldn’t sleep at all... I was worried about the bills, my kids, my health... as the list goes on and gets longer and longer as you dwell on it...

The good news is that God has an amazing promise for you-

God “gives His beloved sleep”.

Who are His beloved? That’s You and Me!

Because You are in Christ, You are His beloved. Ephesians 1:6; 2 & Thessalonians 2:13

God says, “It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows…” In other words, it is pointless to worry and lose sleep because the truth is, “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” Psalm 127:1

Jesus said in Mathew 6:25 That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?

Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?

Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

Here’s the Key-

You have to come to the place of saying; “God I Trust You”.  I’m going to trust that my life and times because You are my God!  Thank you that You Will deliver me-

As David said in Psalm 31:14-17 But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.”My times are in your hands;  deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love.

Let me not be put to shame, Lord, for I have cried out to You-

Noticed David said...

You Have To Say It!

So, let God be the one who builds your career and watches over your finances- Let Him be the one who guards your health, your singleness, your marriage and your children.

Don’t worry and stay up late as if you are the source of the increase, or the one who has the power to make things happen and save the situation.  No, God is the one and He says to you, “My child, throw that care to Me and go to sleep.” And while you are sleeping, He is working on your situation. He, who neither slumbers nor sleeps Psalm 121:3–4

He works the night shift for you as you sleep!

Did you read that? God works for you while your sleeping-

But because we are such doers and performers, it is hard for us to let go and let God take over. But when we actually do, casting all our cares, anxieties and worries once and for all into His hands, we will see how He cares for us affectionately and watchfully. 1 Peter 5:7

We will see Him taking care of our problems and working things out for good.

Romans 8:28

This is Your Time to Trust your Father’s love for you. Cast your cares on Him and have say; “No more sleepless nights-“

Love in His Grace, Pastor Joe

Thoughts For Today-

This Next Week We Will Be Studying The Powerful Life Changing Words Jesus Spoke-

IMG_5935.JPG

It’s my desire as your Pastor that you will grasp the Powerful Revelation Of The Mighty Words Of Jesus- His Words Are Life Changing!

We will be studying the Words of Jesus Together-

Have you thought about the Words you speak?

Words Of Life or words of death-

What are some of the words you can replace in your vocabulary?

Write down a few and give it some thought-

Words have creative power. When you speak something out, you give life to what you are saying. It is one thing to believe you are blessed.  When you say I am blessed it takes on a whole new meaning, that is when blessings come looking for you- instead of you looking for the blessings-

Psalm 107:2 says, “Let the Redeemed of the Lord say so.” Doesn’t say think so or hope so If you are going to the next level and accomplish your dreams it has to come out of your mouth, you have to declare it. God created the world by speaking it into existence. You can believe all day long and not see anything happen. Nothing happens until you speak. Instead of believing you are coming out of debt, you need to say you are coming out of debt.Instead of hoping it, say it. Not just hope you will have a good year, but say it! Are you giving life to your faith by speaking it out?

Psalm 91 says, “…I will say of the Lord He is my refuge, my fortress, my shield…” The next verse says, “He will deliver me, protect me, cover me”. Notice the connection, “I will say,” and “He will do-Doesn’t say I believe He is my refuge, I believe He is my strength. No David said it, and spoke it out. Whatever is in your heart needs to be in your conversation Talk like it has already happened Talk like it is on the way When I get married When I graduate from college. Think of the opposite of Psalm 91, “I will not say of the Lord and He will not do.” That is the principal nothing happens until you speak. What are you saying of the Lord Don’t talk about how big the problem is, talk about how big your God is! Are you speaking victory over your life, over your family, over your career? Whatever God has put in your heart, declare it is coming to pass- Nothing happens until you speak out His promise over your life!

As we begin a new year together, I’m so excited about all that I believe is ahead for you—blessings, favor, and the goodness of God-

You see, before you were even born, God didn’t just know you; He had already planted a wonderful destiny in you.

The Scripture says it this way:

1 Cor. 2:9 ...Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,

Nor have entered into the heart of man

The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit...

Let His Spirit Begin Now To Stir Your Heart to step into New uncharted blessings God has instore for you-  Reach out and start this your Speaking His Word!

Love Pastor Joe Sabolick

What’s Your Response To Christmas

IMG_5725.JPG

Dear Saint in Christ;

What’s Your Response to Christmas?

The true enjoyment of Christmas is tied to our response to the Christ-child born in Bethlehem 2,000 years ago. When we read the Christmas story from the Bible, there are at least three ways that we can respond to Him.

Preoccupation?

The innkeeper gave one response when Mary and Joseph wanted to find a safe place where the baby could be born. The innkeeper wasn’t hostile, he wasn’t opposed to them, but his inn was crowded. His hands were full; his mind was preoccupied.

This is the answer that millions of people are giving today. Like the Bethlehem innkeeper, they can’t find room for Christ. Other crowding interests already take up all the accommodations in their hearts. Their response is not atheism. It isn’t defiance. It’s preoccupation and the feeling of being able to get on reasonably well without Christ in their lives.

Hostility?

King Herod gave another response. When the wise men arrived in Jerusalem looking for “the King of the Jews,” Herod appeared to be interested. But afterwards his true response was hostility. “Destroy him!” Herod raged, “Let him die while he is still in his cradle.” In his jealous frenzy, he gave the order to kill every male child in Bethlehem from birth to two (Matthew 2:16), just to make sure the newborn was destroyed!

That hostile response grew and swelled until one day it became a mad mob’s terrifying roar toward Jesus the man: “Let him be crucified! Let him be crucified!” (Matthew 27:22-26).

In many parts of the world, this cry is still being shouted. The world objects to Christ, the unique Son of God, and the Messiah. If he would remain a gentle and mild Jesus, that would be all right. There is no danger there. Or if he were only a mystical dreamer, or if we could put him in a stained-glass window and he would never come down to trouble us…then he would be all right. But a Reigning Christ, a Life-Changing Christ? That is unacceptable to so many people. Such a Christ is a menace to their way of life. It strikes at the roots of their independence from God.

Commitment?

But another response was totally different. It came from an old priest in the temple. When the baby Jesus was brought in to be dedicated to God, Simeon took the child in his arms and said to God, “Now you are letting your servant depart in peace…for my eyes have seen your salvation” (Luke 2:29-30).

Simeon’s answer was the response of Commitment. A very Rare Word these days- He understood God’s intentions in sending His only Son to earth. To Simeon, that meant he couldn’t be complacent, too preoccupied to act on the truth before him. Hostility was the farthest thing from his thoughts. Instead he embraced God’s plan to provide salvation through his Son’s sacrificial death for us.

Have you irrevocably committed yourself to God’s way of salvation as set out in the Word of God? “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven…by which we must be saved…everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins” (Acts 4:12, 10:43). His life-saving mission was complete when he rose from the dead (Acts 26:23).

Many other ways to God are proposed. But Jesus said, “I am the way…no one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

Are you committed to placing your trust entirely in Christ to receive God’s forgiveness and eternal life in heaven when this life is over? Are you Committed to Christ and His Church?

This is the response I hope you will make this Christmas to God’s greatest gift to all humanity!

A commitment to The Lord Jesus and His blood bought Church- it’s all about being in the right place- His Church; The right people- His Body; And the Right Person- Jesus the Reason For The Season!

Love in His Grace,

Pastor Joe and Jacquelyn Sabolick

You Are The Light Of The World

IMG_5720.JPG

You are Called By God to be the Salt and Light of The World!

Matthew 5:13-16

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Jesus said that He was the light of the world right after He had told the woman caught in the act of adultery, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”

When she said, “No one, Lord”, He said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” Then, the Bible tells us that “Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world…’” (John 8:10–12)

How wonderful it is to know that when Jesus said, “I am the light of the world,” His light was not to show up the woman’s sin because He had just told her that He did not condemn her.

This tells us that we don’t have to be fearful when we come into God’s presence. He is not there waiting to punish us for our mistakes and failures. His light is not for exposing our sins and shame, or for condemning us. No, His glorious light is for showing us how perfectly His Son’s blood has washed away our sins! That is why Jesus could tell the woman that He did not condemn her—because He would be condemned for her sin as well as ours at the cross.

Jesus’ light unveils the truth that our sins have been completely removed. It reveals how perfect and spotless we are because of Christ’s perfect work at the cross. When you know this, you can go boldly into God’s presence, knowing that you have the light of life that gives you grace and hope!

There are so many people perishing who need to hear His Words of Grace, Love and Mercy-

He has made you His Light!

Don’t be defeated in Your Thinking...

IMG_5706.JPG

The first step to victory. Don’t defeat yourself in your own thinking. Get your mind going in the right direction. Seek first The Kingdom Of God and His Righteousness Matt. 6:33

The Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking”, but something inside you flowing out—“righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit”.

So to seek first God’s kingdom means to make it a priority every day to have your inner person flowing with righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Righteousness is not your own righteousness based on what you do. It is not good works. It is a gift from Jesus who is your righteousness. (Romans 5:17; 1 Corinthians 1:30) God wants you to be established in the truth that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

“Peace be with you” Jesus spoke these words to His disciples when He appeared before them after His resurrection. He also showed them His pierced hands and side. (John 20:19–20) God wants you to know that His Son’s finished work has given you peace. Your conscience can be at rest because your sin debt has been settled. You now are at peace with God and have the peace of God.

Joy will come into your heart when you see Jesus in the scriptures, worship songs or anointed preaching. It is the same joy from the Holy Spirit which filled the disciples’ hearts when they saw Jesus, His hands and His side. (John 20:20)

So every day, make it a priority to see yourself righteous in Christ. Don’t be conscious of your sins. Instead, be conscious of your righteousness. And whether you are reading your Bible or listening to anointed preaching, see Jesus with His pierced hands and side, which speak of His finished work. See all your sins forgiven, and you will flow with peace and joy. When you do this, you are seeking the kingdom of God!
